Christina Aguilera Signs On To Judge NBC’s The Voice

Well, there’s finally some good news in the world of Christina Aguilera. Aguilera has just signed on to judge NBC’s new reality singing competition called ‘The Voice.’ She will be joined by fellow judges Cee-Lo Green and Maroon 5′s Adam Levine. Carson Daly will host the new series that was created be reality TV mogul Mark Burnett.

“I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it,” Aguilera said in a statement. “To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists’ careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms.mI am so happy to be working with fellow Grammy Award winners Adam and Cee Lo as I feel there is so much we can all bring to The Voice.”

“When I decided to produce The Voice, I immediately knew that my first choice for a female coach had to be Christina Aguilera,” Burnett said. “Christina has a perfect voice and is an undeniable force in the music business. She is the epitome of The Voice.” [Via Entertainment Weekly]

And don’t think ‘The Voice’ is just like any other reality singing competition. The judges are not allowed to see the contestants when they audition, but rather judge them based on their voices alone. When they hear something they like, the will push a button to accept the singer and their chair will turn around to reveal who they really are. The winner will win $100,000 and a recording contract.

Hallelujah! From the looks of the picture above, a still from her new video shoot, Christina Aguilera decided to change her hair for the ‘You Lost Me’ video. That bleach blonde old hollywood look was driving me nuts!

Christina Aguilera’s new video for ‘You Lost Me’ will premiere July 22nd on Vevo.com and July 24th on the Vh1 Top 20 Countdown.

Christina Aguilera electrified the crowd at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards as she performed a medley of songs off of her new album ‘Bionic’. Xtina sang ‘Bionic’, followed by ‘Not Myself Tonight’, and ended with ‘Woohoo’. The performance ended with the camera zooming in on a pink flashing heart covering Xtina’s personal woohoo. Scandalous!

Christina Aguilera’s ‘Not Myself Tonight’ video will definitely get people talking. Heads are going to roll when the conservatives feast their eyes on this sexually charged video that’s almost too hot to handle.

Xtina looks incredible and is definitely not herself in the video. Looks like she channeled Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Fergie, and Madonna.

Christina Aguilera Releases New Single ‘Not Myself Tonight’

The ‘Big News’ that Christina Aguilera has been promising for the past week on her official website is finally here!

Christina, or should we refer to her as Xtina once again, has delivered a single that reminds us of the days when she was ‘Dirrty’. This is the Christina that we’ve been loving for years. Now, I guess we can forgive her for that awful Back To Basics phase.

New Details On Christina Aguilera’s New Album

Christina Aquilera’s fourth album is gearing up to be an amazing one. With all of the lackluster albums that have been released lately, here’s hoping Xtina’s packing the punch with this new one.

Aguilera’s rep confirmed to US Weekly that her new album will be out in the Spring of 2010.

The Bravery’s Sam Endicott has written a track called ‘Monday Morning’ for Aguilera, which is being produced by Switch. Endicott recently worked with Shakira, M.I.A, and Santigold.

And don’t forget that soon we’ll be able to catch Christina on the big screen when she co-stars in Burlesque with Cher.
