Rihanna Cancels Upcoming Shows

Recently Rihanna cancelled over half a dozen shows for her North American tour, “Last Girl on Earth,” including the Seattle, Dallas, Auburn, and Phoenix concerts with her people citing production changes and scheduling conflicts. Thursday they announced even more cancellations.
“Due to a change in Rihanna’s schedule, she can no longer appear in Englewood, CO (July 15), Atlanta, GA (July 28) and Noblesville, IN (August 3). Fans who purchased tickets will receive a refund. Rihanna apologizes to her fans and hopes to make it up to them on the next tour.”
Could it be she’s spending more time in the studio with the record label trying to rush her upcoming album for the years end? Or is it low ticket sales? She’s not saying, although Thursday she was spotted at Barney’s in Beverly Hills on a shoe shopping spree, the day before heading off to the LAX airport on Friday to make her Sacramento performance.
Rihanna Shocked By Barbed Wire Photo Controversy

Rihanna is shocked by the furor over her raunchy artwork for new track Russian Roulette – insisting the public should be used to seeing her dressed provocatively.
Rihanna’s first single since her highly-publicized fight with Chris Brown in February features a saucy shot of the star posing in nothing but an eye-patch, barbed-wire around her breasts and a basque.
The Umbrella hit-maker is finding it hard to understand why people have been so shocked by the snap – but she’s happy her tough new image is making waves.
She tells British radio station Key 103, “I don’t know why people are so surprised that I’m scantily clad, I’ve always been scantily clad, I’ve always been that way. I definitely thought the barbed wire was cool, it was a symbol of strength but fearlessness all at once, that’s why we used it.”
“We took our time and wrapped that barbed wire around me. It took forever because we had to wrap it round the front of me – a certain area – a few times more than the rest of me so that it would cover the necessary.”
Rihanna To Perform On “The X-Factor” Nov. 22

Great news, Brits: Pop’s Bajan princess Rihanna is set to perform on the British talent show The X-Factor later this month. The “Disturbia” hitmaker will belt out her new single “Russian Roulette” from her forthcoming album, Rated R, on a program airing Nov. 22.
“I am beyond excited – it was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. A lot of people watch the show over here (in America) on YouTube and I personally caught a lot of it when Leona Lewis was on, who’s an amazing artist,” Rihanna said Wednesday. “So, to say yes to (show boss) Simon (Cowell) was an honor, especially as I know the show so well.”
Alexandra Burke and Cheryl Cole are also expected to perform on the results show. Meanwhile, Rihanna’s fourth studio album is slated for release the day after her X-Factor appearance.
