Usher’s ‘Versus’ in Stores August 24th

Usher will release Versus, a nine-song follow-up to Raymond V. Raymond on August 24th.

Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase Raymond V. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition) which will contain all 22 songs from Raymond V. Raymond and Versus. The new set will include his current No. 1 hit “There Goes My Baby” the pop smash “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” featuring Pitbull , and Usher’s explosive collaboration with Jay-Z “Hot Tottie.”

Versus is an extension of Usher’s sixth studio album Raymond V. Raymond. RVR debuted at No. 1 on Pop and R&B albums charts and spawned five hit singles including “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home),” “Lil Freak” featuring Nicki Minaj, “There Goes My Baby” and “OMG” featuring will.i.am.

Usher will perform his blockbuster summer anthem “OMG” live in Central Park as part of the Good Morning America Concert Series on Friday, August 20th and he will perform on The Early Show on September 3rd. The “DJ Fallin’ In Love” video, directed by Hiro Murai, is slated to premiere on VEVO and video networks next week.

Usher And Chris Brown To Tour Together

Say it ain’t so!

According to reports, Usher and Chris Brown are planning a tour together. Jermaine Dupri and B. Michael Cox let the news slip during a video blog on Aug. 17th.

“Usher and the boy Chris Brown going on tour…y’all know that, right?” Cox said in the video. “They might don’t know that,” Dupri responded. “I might have just gave y’all some exclusive sh*t!” Cox quipped.

I don’t think this is a good idea at all! Chris Brown needs retire from the music business already.

Usher’s “There Goes My Baby” Music Video Arrives

Usher’s latest music video for his latest R&B single “There Goes My Baby” has just been released!

The sultry slow-jam is one of the standout tracks from Usher’s 900k-selling Raymond Vs. Raymond album, and has turned out to be quite a hit on the charts, so far reaching #2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart and #34 on the Hot 100.

Usher to Release 8 New Songs on ‘Versus’ on August 24th

On the heels of his successful, critically-acclaimed current album Raymond V. Raymond, Usher is gearing up to release Versus, an extension of R V. R with eight new songs on August 24th. On that day Usher fans will also have the opportunity to purchase Raymond V. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition) which will contain all songs from Raymond V. Raymond as well as Versus. The new set will include his current R&B hit “There Goes My Baby” and collaborations with Bun B, producer Polow Da Don and others.

Versus is a conceptual sequel and final chapter of Raymond V. Raymond — an album in which Usher uses music to explore the dichotomies of his life as a newly single man/father.

The lead single from the new set is “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” featuring Pitbull and is produced by the inimitable Max Martin — who has worked with some of the top pop artists in the world including P!nk, Katy Perry and Britney Spears. “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” will be delivered to radio stations world-wide this coming Monday morning. Shortly after, “Hot Tottie” produced by the hitmaker Polow, will be delivered to radio on August 9th.

Usher Knocks Bieber Out Of The Top Spot

It’s a sad day for Justin Bieber fans. Bieber’s My World, 2.0 has been knocked out of the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart. But fans shouldn’t be too upset because Justin Bieber’s mentor, Usher, has claimed the top spot with the release of his new album, Raymond V. Raymond.

Usher’s Raymond V. Raymond sold 329,000 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

Although Justin Bieber was knocked from the top spot, according to Billboard.com, his album sales were up 3% this past week.

Usher’s ‘Raymond VS Raymond’ Expected To Debut at #1 on HITS Chart

Usher is officially back with his new album, Raymond VS Raymond. Even before the album’s release, Usher scored a combined, weekly audience of 44.6 million at Urban radio for all three singles, along with more than 1.5 million downloads and ringtones. Raymond v Raymond album is expected to debut at #1 on next week’s HITS sales chart, selling an estimated 330-350k copies.

The first single off of Usher’s upcoming album Raymond vs Raymond is a song called ‘Papers’. In the song, Usher talks about his highly publicized divorce from Tameka Raymond.
