Former Pussycat Doll lead singer Nicole Scherzinger hasn’t had the best luck breaking out as a solo artist, but that’s not stopping her from going after it. A new single called ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ has leaked online. It was originally produced by Timbaland and was intended for Keri Hilson. No word on whether this is the final version or not.

Nicole Scherzinger’s New Single ‘Poison’ Arrives in Full

Nicole Scherzinger got the venom in her brand new solo single called “Poison”.
In this pulsating dance track produced by acclaimed music maker RedOne, the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls dares the boys to “step into the danger zone” and kiss her while poison is still dripping from her lips.
Before this “Poison”, Scherzinger debuted a solo song called “Nobody Can Change Me” on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show in May this year. The self-empowering track, however, failed to chart and that is maybe the reason why she moved to another song.
Of her still-in-the-work album itself, Nicole Scherzinger said, “My music that I’m working on now for my album might have a little more rock, funk, soul edge, but it’s basically in the genre of popular music and it’s just honest music, fun music.”

And then there was one…
Members of the Pussycat Dolls have been dropping like flies. In a new interview with MTV, Nicole Scherzinger, aka Nicky Doll, reveals what the future holds for her and confirms that there will be a new cast of dolls.
“We’re also gonna have a new cast of Dolls. And I’m excited,” Nicole told MTV.
“Right now I’ve been in the studio working on music non-stop. We’re gonna have another Pussycat Dolls album for all of our fans out there, but that’s gonna be late this year.”
“I’m still Nicky Doll,” she added. “And I’m just plowing away in the studio making music that I love.”
“I don’t know if I’m gonna put [the new music out] under my name yet or if it’s going to be perfect for the Dolls,” she said. “It doesn’t matter. I just want to make great music for the fans. It’s going to be popular music, but I’m definitely going with [a] more rock, soul-inspired sound.”
The Pussycat Dolls have always had catchy hit songs on the radio and admit it, the only doll you actually know is Nicole. So, as long as the group continues to record hit songs, it will be like nothing ever happened.

Founder Of Pussycat Dolls Says Members Are Replaceable!

With all of the rumors surrounding a break-up of the Pussycat Dolls, the groups creator Robin Antin has spoken and says the girls are all replaceable and fans can expect new music from the group, whoever it may include.
Antin says:
“The truth is I have had a lot of different girls in the Pussycat Dolls over the years which many people did not know before the band. I had many reincarnations of the PCD so if a couple of girls want to go out and do something else it is easy for me to find other girls. My trademark motto is behind every woman is a Pussycat Doll; there are many girls that I can bring in. I know that I will make it great, sexy and make everyone feel like a Pussycat Doll. That is the beauty of what I have, a brand that is bigger than all of us.”
Robin also revealed that the Pussycat Dolls may be heading to Broadway.
“I have the idea with the Pussycat Dolls story. The real story which is my story, I started PSC in a garage and worked my way up. It is a good, wild, crazy story but my dream is to do it in a way that Jersey Boys was able to do it. Tell the real story with the huge hits and use all the music to fill the whole show. It is going past dreaming about it now, I believe in it.”
As for other celebrities she’d like to see as a guest Pussycat Doll, Antin says:
“I would definitely love to have Beyonce. She is someone that I look and I say, ‘she is the ultimate.’ I’ve had Gwen Stefani, Scarlett Johansson and some many beautiful, incredible women, what more can I get? I have always wanted Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna of course, these are woman that get it, they get me and even Madonna would be great.”
Just goes to show you, you should never get to comfortable…everyone’s replaceable!

Pussycat Dolls member Kimberly Wyatt recently opened up about her true feelings for Nicole Scherzinger.
“I get on with most of the band but not everyone. Look, at the end of the day it’s a job – we all have our own lives to lead and our own projects going on…I think of Nicole as just a business associate not as a friend. You cannot simply group girls together and just expect them to get on, can you? Life doesn’t work like that.”
The Pussycat Dolls are currently on a break.
Kimberly insists, “If Nicole left tomorrow, we could still carry on. I can see this band going on forever.”

NICOLE SCHERZINGER SAYS SHE ORIGINALLY DIDN’T WANT TO COVER ‘JAI HO’i
March 24, 2009 by Rob Steiner

Nicole Scherzinger, the lead singer of the pussycat dolls did an interview with Desi Hits (www.DesiHits.com.) In the interview she admitted that initially “kind of didn’t want to re-record A.R Rahman’s “Slumdog Millionaire hit, “Jai Ho.”
“I was really scared and I kind of didn’t want to do it,” she told the site. “I heard the song and fell in love with it … and I was scared to death to touch it. I was afraid for people to hear it before I even wrote it.” But she said her producers and label exec gave her the courage to see the project through. “Every night I would pray” for it to turn out right,” she said. “If people like it, then I’m really grateful.”
“The people at the label, Jimmy Iovine and Ron Fair, asked me to see the movie and listen to this new producer, A.R. Rahman, so I studied him, and I saw the movie and was captivated and thought it was the most genius thing ever,” Scherzinger explained. “And they said, ‘Well, that’s good, because you’re going to have to rewrite it and do your own version of it.’
“So, we were on tour at the time — we were in London, and we all went to go see the movie — and while we were doing our shows, I just worked on the song,” she continued. “It’s an honor to be part of this project in any way, before all the Oscars happened, because the story is unbelievable.”
“It’s crazy how the whole thing came about,” she said. “It just happened so quickly. I’m a writer, and I’ve been fortunate enough to write for the Dolls, but when they asked me to look at the movie and do my own version, I was really afraid to take on the task of rewriting the lyrics,” she said. “Because I thought the movie was so profound, I didn’t know how to make sure I kept the integrity of the movie and the love story, but also make it cool enough for the Pussycat Dolls and for people all over the world to connect to.
“I just followed my heart and I came from a very spiritual place,” she continued. “I just wanted people no matter where they are, whatever relationship they’re in — be it spiritual or a guy/girl relationship — to be able to connect to the song. So it was kind of unbelievable to be able to do that. I hope people don’t hate it!”
