Diddy Wants To Be Adopted By President Obama

Rap mogul and businessman Sean “Diddy” Combs wants to be adopted by President Barack Obama.

The hitmaker feels partly responsible for getting Obama elected because he thinks hip-hop played a big role in his political success – and he’d love to be part of America’s first family.

He tells Playboy magazine, “I think we are probably responsible for (Barack) Obama being in office, yes. If nobody else is gonna say it, then I’m gonna say it. The confidence, the swagger we instilled in our communities made that possible. I met him (Obama) twice… If God said I could pick one person to be my father, I’d want to be Sean Combs Obama. That’s how dope he is. I hope he reads this interview and adopts me. I wouldn’t even need to be in the will. I got my own money.”

Rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs spent a staggering $3 million celebrating his 40th birthday with friends in New York.

The superstar rented space at the posh Plaza Hotel and installed a Garden of Eden-themed room, including a $30,000 orchid display, black chandeliers and a black dance floor.

Guests, including Jay-Z, Bono, Kim Kardashian and Denzel Washington were then treated to a silver confetti drop and performance by singer Al Green – reports the New York Post.

Combs reached the landmark on November 4th.

Happy Birthday Puff Daddy, also knows as Diddy, P Diddy, Puff, Daddy, Diddy Doody Daddy, and Sean Combs. He turns 40 years old today! He’s officially over-the-hill!

Last month the hip-hop star brushed off the loss of a $20,000 ring, joking he “didn’t like” the jewelry anyway. He showed up at 106 & Park on the BET network and accidentally flung his pricey ring into the crowd as he threw bundles of cash into the air while making his studio entrance.

Fans were placed on lockdown as they were searched for the missing jewelry, but the ring was nowhere to be found.

Liz Davis has won MTV’s Starmaker!

We knew if from the moment we were first introduced to the country singer on Diddy’s latest reality talent competition.

Week after week, Liz has taken the direction of the judges to improve her natural born talent. Last night, she emerged as a star.

Davis found out she had won the competition just like the rest of us last night, on television. The pre-taped series filmed three alternate endings in order to keep the winner a secret until the finale aired on MTV.

She never once doubted herself as an artist at any point in the competition. She was country from the get go and performed Gretchen Wilson’s ‘Redneck Woman’ on the finale, which happened to be the song that initially secured her spot on the show.

Liz Davis has made history by becoming the first country artist signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy label.

Aubrey O’Day: “Life Isn’t Fair”

Music mogul Diddy has done more than wreck singer Aubrey O’Day’s musical dreams – his decision to fire her from girl group Danity Kane has turned her off the industry altogether.

The pin-up, who upset Diddy by posing scantily-clad in a series of men’s magazines, has revealed she’s contemplating quitting pop music for good – because her departure from the band has left her jaded.

Diddy, a.k.a. Sean Combs, fired O’Day on an episode of reality TV show “Making The Band” in 2008, after criticizing her “oversexed image” and accused her of trying to promote herself as a celebrity at the expense of the group.

O’Day has since expanded her career outside music, appearing in the pages of Playboy magazine and saucy Las Vegas stage production Peepshow, and she admits she may never return to music.

The 25 year old tells NYPost.com’s PopWrap blog, “I’ve lost that loving feeling a little bit because of the situation that introduced me to the industry… We were these young girls that believed in a dream and thought life would be fair – but life isn’t fair. When you start to realise life isn’t fair, what do you do: curl up and die or fight every second of the way?”

O’Day admits she was never cut out to handle the politics involved in the music industry, adding, “My entire life I worked on perfecting my talent, thinking that was the only thing that mattered. But when you’re actually in this business, you learn that talent only counts for five per cent. The rest is how you behave, what you do, how you portray yourself. A lot of it is playing the game and, if anyone doesn’t know by now, I don’t like playing other people’s games. I didn’t do it with Diddy, I haven’t done it since.”

We’ve been following Diddy’s MTV show Starmaker since it started and one contestant has held on to our attention through the ups and downs each week. Liz Davis is a country star in the making!

Liz has followed the judges directions and performed hits from pop to country, and this week, Diddy requested that Liz return to her country roots to perform Carrie Underwood’s ‘Before He Cheats’. It has been great to see Liz’s transformation over the weeks and she appeared on stage as a star this week from head to toe and delivered a vocal that has left the remaining contestants worried about their chances of winning the competition.

Mariah Carey’s “Memoirs of An imperfect Angel,” Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “Last Train To Paris” and Lil Wayne’s “Rebirth,” release dates have all been pushed back.

You would think that these highly anticipated albums release dates wouldn’t be delayed.

Mariah Carey’s first single is currently #11 on the Billboard 100. I mean the single is OK but really she needs to just step up her game.
