Lady Gaga Announces New Tour

From the Lady’s official website:

“International pop superstar Lady Gaga today announced plans for her next North American tour, entitled “The Monster Ball.” The tour will begin on November 27 in Montreal, and will wind up on January 21, 2010 in Gaga’s hometown, New York City. Kid Cudi will be the supporting act for the entire tour.

Says Lady Gaga, “The Haus of Gaga had been designing ‘The Monster Ball’ for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, but due to diligent work and preparation, ‘The Monster Ball’ will begin on November 27 in Montreal. ‘The Monster Ball’ is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever ‘pop electro opera.’”

Lady Gaga will release a re-package of her breakthrough album, The Fame, called The Fame Monster, earlier that week, on November 23. The re-package will include eight brand new songs, including the club-banging first single “Bad Romance.” Continues Lady Gaga, “A message to all my little monsters: The Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show. You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along. Dress accordingly.”

Lady Gaga To Appear On Gossip Girl

According to the NY Daily News, Lady Gaga will be filming an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl.

She will be performing as herself, which isn’t too much of a stretch for the pop star.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched an entire episode of the show, but I’ll be sure to tivo this one!

Robbie Williams Reunites With Former Band Take That

Could a Take That reunion be in the works?

According to the Daily Mirror, Robbie Williams met up with his former bandmates in New York City at Electric Lady Studios. This is the first time the band has been together in almost 15 years. A source told the Daily Mirror that Robbie “is back with Take That in the studio and they’re all writing together again. Robbie wouldn’t be happy performing old Take That songs that he has had no part in. But if they can pen new tracks that they’re all happy with, they’ll record them and hell be back with them on stage”.

A spokesperson for the group says the report is “unconfirmed” and claims the band were in New York to “approve final mixes” for their first-ever live album The Greatest Day.

Jennifer Hudson Live In NYC Tonight for Wizard Of Oz

If you’re in NYC and want to catch Idol alum Jennifer Hudson live, head over to Central Park West and 72nd street at 7:30pm tonight for the 70th anniversary of The Wizard Of Oz.

Central Park will be hosting a free screening of the remastered, high definition film. There will be special performances of the movie’s classic songs by Jennifer Hudson and Julianne Hough from Dancing With The Stars.

DJ AM Was Headed Back To Rehab

Reports are now swirling that DJ AM was planning to head back to rehab. The day before his death, he announced that he was planning to get help for his drug addictions.

According to the NY Post, DJ AM had falled off his track of sobriety and his manager and recovery sponsor flew to NYC from LA to confront him at his apartment on Thursday morning.

AM apparently refused to see his manager, but allowed his sponsor into his apartment. AM lit up a crack pipe right in front of his sponsor!

So Sad.

Britney And The Boys Hit Broadway

Britney spent some quality time with the boys last week while in NYC. She went back to her roots and took the boys to see the hit Broadway musical ‘Shrek.’

Britney Spears Tours New York City

Britney Spears turned the tables in New York City on Monday, hopping on a sightseeing bus to take in the sights. Any attempt at going incognito went out the window quickly as fans easily spotted the golden-haired popstar.

In town for her string of concerts at Madison Square Garden, Spears rode on the top of a double decker bus and happily waved at adoring fans.
