Nick Cannon Stirs Up Eminem Feud, He Want’s A Sit Down

Mariah Carey’s protective husband Nick Cannon has stirred up his feud with Eminem by telling the rapper he’s lucky the two haven’t met. Eminem upset Cannon with comments he made about him in the lyrics of his “Bagpipes From Baghdad” track, suggesting he still had feelings for Carey and the young entrepreneur and entertainer “better back the f–k up”. He also called the R&B star a ‘c–t’ and Cannon a ‘pr–k’ on the track.

Cannon, who wed the “Hero” singer last year after a whirlwind romance, fumed over the lyrics and vowed Eminem’s words will have “repercussions”.

The “Stan” hitmaker later played down his war of words with Cannon, admitting his lyrics were “a little harsh” and insisted he totally understood the the rapper/actor’s reaction.

But Cannon is refusing to let the matter lie, lashing out at Eminem in a new In Touch magazine article.

He tells the publication, “He’s lucky I haven’t run into him yet. I’m supposed to protect my woman if someone can be so heinous and disrespectful. Until we speak, I don’t respect him as a man. He and I need to have an old-school sit-down.”

Mariah Carey Reaches The Hot 100 Top 10

After a lot of criticism of her latest single ‘Obsession,’ Mariah Carey’s song has found it’s way up the Billboard Hot 100 chart and landed in the Top 10. ‘Obsession’ currently sits at the no. 7 spot. I guess it just took some time for the song to grow with fans.

Carey’s latest top 10 hit puts her in a tie for 5th place for the most top 10 hits in the history of the Hot 100. She is tied with Elton John and Janet Jackson. Ahead of her are Madonna with 37, The Beatles with 34, and Michael Jackson and Stevie wonder with 28 each.

Mariah Carey Peforms In Las Vegas At The Palms Casino Resort

Mariah Carey is in Las Vegas for a limited run of concerts, and we’ve got pix of the sexy songbird in rehearsals!

Mariah will hit the stage this Friday and Saturday (as well as the weekend of October 9-10) at The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort. It’s the first time the Grammy winner has played such an intimate venue and fans are already buzzing about the show.

Susan Boyle’s Coming To America

Many have speculated and now it has been confirmed, Susan Boyle will be performing on the finale of America’s Got Talent on September 16th according to People.

Boyle, who didn’t win Britain’s Got Talent, took the world by storm with her performance of ‘I Dreamed A Dream.’ She became an overnight sensation. No one knows exactly what she’ll be performing, but the most obvious choice is ‘I Dreamed A Dream,’ although she reportedly has recorded a cover of Madonna’s ‘You’ll See’ for her upcoming album. Will Susan debut her cover of Madonna’s ‘You’ll See’ for her debut performance on American soil?

Boyle’s debut album will be released November 24th, 2009.

David Hasselhoff Performs On “America’s Got Talent”

David Hasselhoff took off his judge’s hat and took to the stage to strut his stuff during a performance of the 1965 tune “Feelin’ Good” on America’s Got Talent Wednesday night.

“He acts, he sings, he dances and he also talks a lot on this show. With a Hofftastic performance of ‘Feelin’ Good,’ give it up for David Hasselhoff!” host Nick Cannon gushed before inviting The Hoff to the stage.

Nick Cannon Didn’t Get His Job Because Of His Wife

Mariah Carey’s husband Nick Cannon addressed the rumors his famous wife helped him land his job hosting America’s Got Talent.

The rapper/actor married superstar Mariah Carey last year and his career was given a major boost when he was named as a replacement for Jerry Springer, presenting Simon Cowell’s hit TV show, America’s Got Talent.

Mariah performed on the show in August to perform her latest single, Obsessed. And ever since, Nick Cannon has been dogged by reports he was handed the host’s job with a stipulation that Carey appeared on the show.

However, Chris is adamant the gossip is untrue and that he was hired on his own merit.

He tells Zap2It, “I’ve heard all the rumors that in order for me to get the job Mariah had to say she’d come perform. Like she helped me get the job. I’ve heard all of those rumors but none of that stuff is true. What actually happened is she had a hit single out and we got the number one show on TV so it’s the only destination for someone to perform in front of that big of an audience during the summer. She’s a huge fan of the show.”

Cannon admits he did facilitate the deal for Carey to appear her newest single for her latest album.

He adds, “They were looking for people and I kinda came up with the idea originally to debut her video on NBC and once that relationship got together, they were like, ‘Do you think she would come perform?’ and I was like, ‘Why not? Let’s figure it out!’”
