“Contrary to rumors online of a Destiny’s Child reunion, there are no plans for the group to reunite for a performance or album. The rumors are false. Destiny’s Child made an unprecedented impact in contemporary music, becoming one of the best-selling groups of all time. Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have each moved on to successful solo careers. The members remain close, but will not reunite as a group.”

With news of a possible Destiny’s Child reunion coming soon, an unreleased track that the trio previously recorded has leaked online. Though the song is not completely new, fans are buzzing with excitement, especially with the thought of a Destiny’s Child reunion.

The song called ‘Heart’ was produced by Scott Storch. It sounds simple and kind of dated, especially for Destiny’s Child, which is why it probably never made it onto one of their albums.

Could it be that Destiny’s Child will reunite in 2010? With Beyoncé’s huge solo career, will she want to get back together with the girls?

According to British News of the World newspaper, Michelle Williams said “It definitely will happen. We’re sisters, we love each other and we want to work on the future of Destiny’s Child.” The trio went their separate ways in 2005 to pursue solo careers, but apparently they still have one album left under their recording contract. An inside source says, “They still have another album they owe their label, Columbia Records, on their contract.”

Apparently the best selling female group of all time has to record one more album to fulfill their contractual obligations. We all know Beyonce has to be over Destiny’s Child.

It makes me happy on one level because Michelle and Kelly’s attempts to be solo artists haven’t really been too successful. Due to the recent news that Kelly Rowland might have been dropped from her label must make her feel more than grateful that they have to produce one more album. The album most likely won’t be released until 2010, I am sure we can all wait that long.
