Justin Bieber Grows Up and Wants Adult Approach on Next Album

For his upcoming albums, Justin Bieber has said he wants his career to move in the similar direction that Justin Timberlake took after he broke away from *N Sync. As did Timberlake, Bieber wants to take a more adult approach for his future projects.

Bieber’s longtime vocal producer, Kuk Harrell, says, “It’s really important that it’s the proper transition because (…) now we’re watching him grow up,” said Harrell, who also worked with Rihanna on her latest album. “We can’t just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition. There’s a record in between.” Harrell continues, “That’s why I think this Christmas album was really important, because it gave everybody the opportunity to hear him, see him and get used to his voice changing,” he said. “When his proper album comes out, everybody’s going to really be looking at [him vocally].”

With the fine details of his next album being kept quiet, Bieber will release his video for “All I Want for Christmas,” co-starring Mariah Carey, on Wednesday.

It’s pretty hilarious that Justin feels he has the right to comment about one of the most successful artists in the industry given the fact he’s only 16 years old!

Justin was asked if he would ever collaborate with Mariah Carey and here’s what Justin told The Sun, “I don’t love her new music, it’s not the same [as her old stuff].” He continued to say “It’s like Michael Jordan coming back out to play in the NBA. She is past her best.”

Madonna’s Manager To Replace Simon Cowell On Idol?

With all the the names flying around to replace Simon Cowell as the new American Idol judge, it appears that a frontrunner has emerged from the pack.

Guy Oseary, who happens to be Madonna’s manager, is being considered as Simon Cowell’s replacement. “Guy has been in the music business since Madonna discovered him when he was 17, and he has a lot of the same experience as Simon,” says a Fox insider. Other names that have been tossed around include Jamie Foxx and Tommy Mattola.

But, who is Guy Oseary? He’s not a household name that fans of Idol will be excited to tune in and see, which is exactly the problem Idol producers are facing. “Producers are worried that viewers in suburban areas won’t know who Guy is. Simon has an incredible following, but the same can’t really be said for Guy,” explains the source.

Simon Cowell’s Haiti Charity Song Expected To Be Huge in The U.K.

A cover of R.E.M.’s 1992 classic “Everybody Hurts,” produced by Simon Cowell and re-recorded to help the victims of last month’s natural disaster in Haiti, is predicted to be a huge hit in the United Kingdom. It has even been said that it will most likely be Britain’s biggest-selling single in 10 years.

Stars that lent their voices to the single, include Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, and Susan Boyle.

The track was released on Tuesday, but is expected to go platinum across the pond by the end of the week.
