Justin Bieber performed at Madison Square Garden in NYC this week and had a few surprises in store for his fans. Guest performers included Usher, Ludacris, Sean Kingston, Boyz II Men, Jaden Smith, and Miley Cyrus.

The concert was filmed for Justin’s upcoming 3D concert movie.

Surprise Jay-Z Concert Interrupted By Fire Alarm

Jay-Z surprised fans with an impromptu performance at a free Myspace/DJ Hero show on September 9th, just 2 days prior to his Madison Square Garden charity concert. We think he was just practicing for the big night!

And he didn’t perform just a couple of songs, he rapped an entire set. “They told me 45 minutes, but I think I’m going to go an hour and fifteen,” the Brooklyn rapper, clad in all black, told the roaring crowd of 650 just after performing a hit-heavy set including “You Don’t Know;” “99 Problems;” “I Know;” “Venus Vs. Mars;” “Dirt Off Your Shoulder;” “Ain’t No Love;” “H To The Izzo;” “Jigga What;” “I Just Wanna Love You” and “Show Me What You Got.”

Jay-Z even invited his sideman Memphis Bleek to join him onstage and it was while Bleek was rapping that the electricity on the stage went out and the fire alarms went off. New York Fire Department officials ran on stage with flashlights and attempted to fix the issue. As the FDNY officials left the building fans were heard chanting “Hova! Hova!”

Jay-Z returned to the stage for several more songs, much to the delight of his fans.

“We really have to get out of here, enough is enough,” he said after performing tracks like “Big Pimpin’,” “Hard Knock Life,” “Can I Get A What,” and the night’s closer, “Encore.” “I had a good time with you all and shit. I appreciate all of you. Shout out to the whole NYC, especially Brooklyn — my hometown. And to everybody that got the ‘Blueprint 3,’ I appreciate the love,” he said.

Hilary Duff exits her make-up trailer on the NYC set of Gossip Girl on Wednesday afternoon (August 26).

On the show, the 21-year-old singer/actress plays Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) and the love interest for Dan (Penn Badgley).

Britney Spears turned the tables in New York City on Monday, hopping on a sightseeing bus to take in the sights. Any attempt at going incognito went out the window quickly as fans easily spotted the golden-haired popstar.

In town for her string of concerts at Madison Square Garden, Spears rode on the top of a double decker bus and happily waved at adoring fans.

ELVIS PRESLEY POEM SELLS FOR 20,000.00!!

A short poem Elvis Presley wrote about a dead bird has sold at auction for a staggering $20,000.
The King of Rock scrawled the rhyme on a piece of paper after apparently killing a robin that perched on his window ledge.

The note, written on his own stationary, reads, “As I awoke this morning when all sweet things are born, a robin perched on my window sill to greet the coming dawn. He sang his sweet song so sweetly and paused for a moment’s lull, I gently raised the window and crushed his f**king skull.”

The poem was part of an online sale of Elvis memorabilia, which closed on Thursday. Other items sold in the auction include a jumpsuit he wore at a concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden, which went for $212,588.40, and the typed lyrics for his song Young and Beautiful, which went under the hammer for $1,155.60.
