I didn’t like it when I first heard it because she basically talks throughout the entire song, but now it’s grown on me. Plus, it features Robin Thicke and that’s what makes it all worth it.

Leighton Meester’s Surprise Performance With Weezer

Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester is slowly making a name for herself in the music business after recording ‘Good Girls Go Bad’ with Cobra Starship and recently releasing her first single ‘Somebody To Love’ featuring Robin Thicke.

Leighton joined Weezer on stage this weekend during their show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC on Hallowen night.

She performed with frontman Rivers Cuomo on Weezer’s new single ‘(If You’re Wondering if I Want You To) I Want You To.’

A Very Special Christmas Volume 7, released through the Universal Music Enterprises, features original recordings of new and traditional Christmas songs which each artist selected especially for this album.

Leighton Meester’s debut single off of her highly anticipated album doesn’t have a release date yet or a name, but fans are buzzing after Leighton spilled the beans on the Emmy’s red carpet on Sunday. Leighton announced that her single will be a collaboration with R&B crooner Robin Thicke.

“Gossip Girl” Star Taylor Momsen Posts Two Demos MySpace

Actress Taylor Momsen is in a band called Pretty Reckless. The band has recently added two demos to their official MySpace page, www.myspace.com/theprettyreckless
Both tracks were written by Momsen and showcase the actress’s surprisingly affective singing voice, which really isn’t bad for a 16 year old.

Taylor Momsen and her Pretty Reckless crew made their debut in May with a concert at New York club the Annex, Rock Daily previously reported. The band is signed to Interscope Records, who will release the Pretty Reckless’ debut disc later this year. Momsen’s Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester also has a debut album in the works. In addition to contributing to Cobra Starship’s “Good Girls Go Bad,” Meester’s single “Body Control” also recently leaked out last month.
