B2K singer J-Boog has spoken out to slam reports he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. He claims all the legal trouble is because he had “outstanding traffic violations.”
J-Boog (His real name is Jarell Damonte Houston), was taken into custody on Monday afternoon with reports alleging neighbors had heard someone screaming in his Los Angeles home. TMZ.com claimed the J-Boog was arrested for “corporal punishment on a spouse,” leading to speculation he had attacked his fiancée, Jondelle Michelle Lee.
J-Boog wanted to clear all of the rumors up, here’s what he told BallerStatus.net, “I did not get charged with any form of domestic violence against the mother of my children. I love and respect all of the women in my life and would never harm any of them. Domestic violence is a very serious matter and one that should be treated that way. However, this was not a case of domestic abuse. I was taken into custody due to outstanding traffic violations.”
Apparently everything is all cleared up and J-Boog took care of everything, he continued to say, “I took care of the situation, no charges were filed, and I was released Tuesday evening. Thank you to my fans who stood by me, regardless of any circulating rumors.”

Rihanna Says Going Back To Chris Brown After Beating Sent “Wrong Message”

In her first television interview since being assaulted by former flame Chris Brown, pop princess Rihanna says it was “”wrong” of her to take the crooner back.
“That’s embarrassing that that’s the type of person that I fell in love with,” the singer told Diane Sawyer on ABC’s Good Morning America Thursday. “So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It’s a traumatizing experience.”
During the interview, she confirmed that Brown, 20, held her in a headlock twice and bit her on the ear and fingers the night before the 2009 Grammys last February. The attack occurred in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park neighborhood as Brown drove a rented sports car.
“I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong,” Rihanna said. “It’s completely normal to go back. You start lying to yourself…I’ll say that to any young girl who is going through domestic violence: ‘Don’t react off of love.’”
Rihanna, 21, also hinted that it may have taken “eight or nine attempts” before she could finally leave the relationship.
“It’s pretty easy to go back….When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part,” she says. “I couldn’t be responsible for that. Even if Chris never hit me again, who’s to say their boyfriend won’t? Who’s to say they won’t kill these girls? I didn’t realize how much of an impact I had on these girls’ lives until that happened.”
ABC will air more chunks of the interview on Friday’s GMA. The interview will air in its entirety Friday evening on 20/20.

Los Angeles police say they’re investigating an alleged domestic violence felony battery report involving Chris Brown, who turned himself in around 7:15 p.m. PT at the Wilshire Division station.
The police department says in a release that the 19-year-old R&B singer and an unidentified woman, believed to be his girlfriend, R&B star Rihanna, were in a vehicle in the Hancock Park neighborhood early Sunday when they began arguing.
Police say Brown and the woman got out of the car and the argument escalated. The woman identified Brown as her attacker; officers say Brown wasn’t at the scene. Both Rihanna and Brown’s performances at the Grammys were canceled without explanation.
A message left for Brown’s representative seeking comment wasn’t immediately returned.

Rihanna has abruptly canceled her planned performance tonight (Feb. 8th) at the 51st annual Grammy Awards at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, according to an announcement from the Recording Academy, which did not provide further details.
Al Green, who won two R&B Grammys during the pre-telecast, will reportedly replace Rihanna in the lineup.
Speculation is rampant that the cancellation is connected to an incident that occurred early this morning involving Rihanna’s boyfriend, R&B star Chris Brown.
The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking Brown on a domestic violence felony battery report after he began arguing with the unnamed passenger in a car, said to be Rihanna. The argument escalated after they exited the vehicle but Brown wasn’t at the scene by the time police arrived.
