Rihanna Finds Milestone with “We Found Love”

Rihanna’s single “We Found Love” stayed on top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on Thursday for the 8th straight week, making it the singer’s longest-running No. 1 single of her career.

The singer’s single overtook Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” which stayed at No. 1 for seven weeks earlier this year, and beat her previous top-selling singles, 2007′s “Umbrella” and 2010′s “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Eminem.

“We Found Love” is the lead single from Rihanna’s sixth studio album “Talk That Talk,” and the singer will wrap her last concert on her “Loud” tour in London on Thursday.

Ke$ha’s proven everyone wrong and managed to stay on the charts longer than anyone ever expected her to. But who doesn’t love a good dance beat? Ke$ha’s got plenty.

It’s so spectacular that you’ll be sharing it with your friends thanks to the drunk guy dropping his pants to go to the bathroom while Ke$ha serenades us.

Ke$ha released the title track to her upcoming album ‘Cannibal’ on iTunes yesterday. The song is typical Ke$ha, quick talking verses and a power driven chorus, although this time around Ke$ha chants ‘I Am Cannibal’ repeatedly in the chorus.

Ke$ha’s ‘We R Who We R’ Set To Debut At #1 On The Billboard Hot 100

Ke$ha’s “We R Who We R” is set to become just the 17th song to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 when the chart is officially released today (Nov. 4).

The track is the preview single from Ke$ha’s forthcoming “Cannibal” album, set to be released on its own on Nov. 22 in addition to being packaged with her debut album, “Animal,” in a deluxe edition titled “Animal Cannibal.”

“We R Who We R” shifts 280,000 downloads in its initial week at retail to easily rank at No. 1 on Digital Songs, knocking Far*East Movement’s “Like a G6″ (178,000, down 13%) to No. 2 on both that chart and the Hot 100. “Like a G6″ topped the latter list for the past two weeks and had led Digital Songs for three non-consecutive frames.

The American Music Awards are November 21st in Los Angeles and it’s gearing up to be quite a show. Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Ke$ha have been added to the line up of performers that includes Christina Aguilera, Usher, Pink, and Bon Jovi.
