Usually, when an artist re-releases an album, there maybe be one or two new songs, or a couple of remixes. But that’s not the case when it comes to Lady Gaga. Fans can expect a lot more from Lady Gaga when she re-releases her hit debut album The Fame, which will be called The Fame Monster. The album will contain 8 new songs! That’s like a whole new album.

Gaga says:

“On my re-release The Fame Monster, I wrote about everything I didn’t write on The Fame. While traveling the world for two years, I’ve encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record…I spent a lot of nights in Eastern Europe, and this album is a pop experimentation with industrial/Goth beats, 90′s dance melodies, an obsession with the lyrical genius of 80′s melancholic pop, and the runway…I also composed a ballad for the album, ‘Speechless,’ a song for my father, and it’s my favorite work of all. I wrote every piece on the road – no songs about money, no songs about fame. I wrote it for my fans, so I wrote everything in between.”

The Fame Monster will be available starting November 24th.

Didn’t they just announce last week that the tour was definitely on?

Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, announced yesterday that the Lady GaGa and Kanye West’s “Fame Kills” tour has been cancelled! If you bought tickets already, don’t worry, refunds will be available.

Does this have anything to do with Kanye’s stunt with Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards? Lady Gaga probably doesn’t want Kanye’s reputation to have an effect on her!

Why do you guys think the tour was cancelled?
