The MTV Unplugged is coming back and will feature Katy Perry. The CD/DVD pack will be hitting stores on November 17th.

Katy recorded the MTV Unplugged performance at MTV’s Times Square studios in New York on July 22, 2009.

She included a cover of Fountains of Wayne’s ‘Hackensack’ in the show and a never before original tiled ‘Brick By Brick’.

Katy Perry To Release MTV Unplugged Album

According to Amazon.com, Katy Perry will be releasing an MTV Unplugged CD/DVD pack on November 17th.

The singer goes back to her acoustic singer/songwriter roots on MTV’s legendary Unplugged series. Fans will see the multi-platinum pop/rock superstar as they’ve never seen her before performing her #1 hit singles I Kissed A Girl and Waking Up In Vegas plus Thinking Of You, Ur So Gay and Lost. Plus two additional tracks – a cover of Fountains Of Wayne’s Hackensack and the never before released track Brick By Brick.

Behind The Scenes: Katy Perry and 3OH!3 ‘Starstrukk’

Katy Perry and 3OH!3 were spotted shooting their new music video for “Starstrukk” at the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum’s Rose Garden in Expositon Park on Monday. Check out the pic of Katy soaking wet below in the water fountain…DAMN!

“Starstrukk” is off the deluxe version of 3OH!3’s debut album, Want. The collaboration came about when 3OH!3 was the opening act on Perry’s tour.

Katy Perry Lashes Out On Airport Security Guard!?

Continuing her worldly travels, Katy Perry was spotted leaving her hotel in Glasgow on Friday (August 21).
The “I Kissed a Girl” singer posed for pictures with a few fans before heading to the Barrowlands for her gig in Scotland.
Happy to be on-land, Miss Perry tweeted about her flying frustrations the previous day.
She tells, “Took 3 flights 2day, 26hrs plus of flying from AUS. By the last flight & the 3rd time going through security I LOST IT on a security person.”
Continuing on, Katy tweets, “I swear i never feel more like a cattle then when i have to go through airport security. They hate their lives and they hate us for sure.”

They Said What??? Jill Sobule Calls Katy Perry a Slut!?

You think that Jill would have expressed her aggression a little sooner than she did, it’s been over 15 months since Katy Perry released her mega hit song, “I Kissed a Girl.” Sobule did an interview with www.TheRumpus.com and shared some very not-so-kind words. “Fuck you Katy Perry, you fucking stupid, maybe ‘not good for the gays,’ title thieving, haven’t heard much else, so not quite sure if you’re talented, fucking little slut.” Jill did acknowledge however that you can not copyright a song title.

So there you have it. Is this just a bitter old jealous musician? I wonder if Katy is going to respond Via her Twitter account??
