Beyoncé’s smash hit ‘Halo’ was originally written by Ryan Tedder of One Republic. Tedder also wrote Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Already Gone’ which has stirred up some controversy for sounding similar to ‘Halo’. Clarkson has since started performing a new version of the song to put the controversy to rest.

The original demo of ‘Halo’ recorded by Ryan Tedder has leaked online today and we’ve got it for you to check out. Beyoncé definitely brought a lot to this song.

The man who punched Leona Lewis in the head at her book signing in London has officially been charged. Twenty three-year-old Peter Kowalczyk has been charged with assault.

The Metropolitan Police announced that he will be appearing before the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court in two weeks on October 26th. As of now, the man has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

Leona has since cancelled her book tour. She took to her website to explain her side of the story.

She writes:

“Thank you so much for your support it is truly overwhelming. Yesterday was a horrible shock and left me extremely hurt and upset. I’m very sorry to those I wasn’t able to meet at the signing. Thank you again for all of the lovely messages.”

We wish Leona all the best as she moves on from this unfortunate incident.

Last night we went to see Cobra Starship perform at Jimmy Kimmel Live. Lead singer Gabe Saporta has gone on the record in the past claiming that he is not a great singer, but last night he was a little tone deaf, too.

New Music: Jay Sean ft. Sean Paul & Lil Jon ‘Do You Remember’

Picture 42

Jay Sean is a breakout artist that you ought to know.

After first hearing his debut single ‘Down’, we knew it was a hit, but it took listeners here in the US a little time to catch on to the British singer. ‘Down’ is currently No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, knocking off the Black Eyed Peas and making Jay Sean the first UK Urban act ever to top Billboard’s Hot 100. Jay Sean’s debut US album, which is actually his third album, All or Nothing is set to be released on November 24th.

Jay Sean has just released his second single ‘Do You Remember’ which features Sean Paul and Lil Jon. It’s destined to be another hit
with a catchy beat and hook similar to ‘Down’. Jay Sean’s got a style that’s fresh and fun. Chris Brown must be pissed. Jay Sean is stealing his spotlight on the urban scene.

One Republic All the Right Moves

One Republic is back with their new single ‘All The Right Moves’. The song reminds me a lot of ‘Apologize’. It sounds like they’re trying to copy the success of their former hit with this new single, but I don’t think it will have the same effect on fans.
