Rihanna To Release New Single ‘Rude Boy’

Rihanna appears to be racing through the release of singles off of her album Rated R. Rihanna’s third single will be ‘Rude Boy’ and it will be hitting radio on February 9th.

After much criticism, Rihanna’s album is doing fairly well and her current single ‘Hard’ is in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

‘Rated R’ Fastest Selling Rihanna Album

With all of the negative press surrounding Rihanna’s new album Rated R, it is very interesting to learn that Rated R is the fastest selling Rihanna album yet!

In the last week, Rihanna sold 209,000 albums worldwide, which means that she has sold more than 1 million (1,013,000) copies in just 5 weeks. This makes Rated R the fastest album to reach 1 million copies sold for Rihanna.

Although she had a slow start, it looks like fans are supporting her new musical direction on Rated R. ‘Hard’ is finally getting regular radio play after ‘Russian Roulette’ failed to stick with fans.

Another song from Rihanna’s upcoming album Rated R has leaked. According to sources, ‘Hard’ was leaked online after Rihanna’s second single ‘Wait Your Turn’ was met with disappointment and first single ‘Russian Roulette’ failed to catch on at radio or with digital sales.

Rihanna’s highly anticipated album is turning out to be a big disappointment. Fans don’t seem to be liking her new direction.
