Girl band Little Mix became the first group to win Britain’s “X Factor” show on Sunday, beating hairdresser Marcus Collins in the final.
The 4 singers, aged between 18 and 20, performed a cover of Damien Rice’s “Cannonball” as their winning performance, which will be their debut single.
Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are guaranteed a record deal.
Little Mix was formed from soloists brought together by the show’s producers. They were forced to change their name from Rhythmix following complaints from a children’s music charity of the same name.

“Contrary to rumors online of a Destiny’s Child reunion, there are no plans for the group to reunite for a performance or album. The rumors are false. Destiny’s Child made an unprecedented impact in contemporary music, becoming one of the best-selling groups of all time. Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have each moved on to successful solo careers. The members remain close, but will not reunite as a group.”

NBC’s latest talent competition The Sing-Off has become my newest guilty pleasure. The show is like a battle of bands, but with a cappella groups. It’s amazing how the groups can imitate all of the instruments in a song with just their voices.

All-4-One has reunited for a comeback and just released their new album No Regrets. It’s been years since we’ve heard anything from them, so, for those of you who may not know anything at all about All-4-One, the group won a Grammy for their chart topping single ‘I Swear’.
After all these years, we spotted the group performing as the opening act for YouTube star Marié Digby! And we asked ourselves, “What Happened?!”
The guys performed 4 songs during their set including ‘I Swear’ and ‘I Can Love You Like That’. They sounded pretty good, but their moves were definitely rusty and they’ve packed on the pounds.

The remake of the classic hit Fame has got the world buzzing and with a star like Asher Book, it’s no wonder why.
The 21 year old got his big break at the age of 7 when he was cast as Chip the Teacup in the U.S. tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. In addition to staring as Marco in Fame, Asher is also the lead singer of the pop group V Factory.
