Charice To Stir Things Up On Season Premiere Of Glee

The highly anticipated season premiere of Glee is only a few days away and word on the street is that singing sensation Charice will be stirring things up on the first episode of season 2.

Charice is playing the role of foreign exchange student, Sunshine Corazon, who proves to be a thorn in Rachel Berry’s (Lea Michele) side. The season begins with Mr. Schue practically begging for new Glee club members. The members of New Directions welcome the addition of Sunshine, however it also sparks a rivalry between her and Rachel, who is less than happy to share the spotlight. The two eventually meet in an epic bathroom showdown set to the tune of Lady Gaga and Beyoncé‘s hit single “Telephone.” [source]

Glee Helps Open 2010 Emmys With Jimmy Fallon

The 2010 Emmys opened with a special performance by host Jimmy Fallon and members from the cast of Glee, Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Chris Colfer (Kurt), and Amber Riley (Mercedes). The Glee kids couldn’t afford to go to the Emmy’s, so, with Jimmy’s help, they set out to form a hot new glee club in order to snatch up the prize money in a contest to help the kids get to the Emmys. On the way, they recruit Tina Fey, turn down Kate Gosselin, run into the legendary Betty White, who adds “dance coach” to her long list of talents, and get slushied by Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester).

Britney Heading Back To Glee?

This past week has been filled with Britney news as she filmed an upcoming all Britney episode for Fox’s hit show Glee. It seems like all went extraordinarily well for the pop princess and she may be coming back for another episode!

In an interview with Access Hollywood at the Creative Arts Emmys in LA, Glee creator Ryan Murphy was asked if it was likely that Britney Spears would return to Glee for another episode and he said “Probably, yeah… probably.”

The all Britney episode of Glee airs September 28th!

It’s Official: Britney Spears Will Appear On Glee!

After much speculation, Britney Spears will be appearing on the all Britney episode of Glee!

Glee creator, Ryan Murphy, was on air with Ryan Seacrest yesterday and revealed the news –

“She is pop culture, it’s going to be kind, not about her personal life. You know she’s (Britney) been through a lot, but we want to do this episode to say thank you very much for all you’ve done and we’re encouraging you to continue being as fantastic as you are. She’s gonna come and join us and do a couple of scenes. I think Britney, 100 percent, is going to be on the episode.”

“[This episode] is so reverential, so kind and about her music,” he says. “We’re handling Britney with kids gloves.”

2010 Teen Choice Awards Winners List

Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Jason Derulo, Miley Cyrus and Paramore are among the many winners at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards which were hosted by Katy Perry and the guys of Fox’s hit show Glee.

Taking home the award for Choice Music Male and Female Artists were Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.

Season 2 Of Glee Secrets revealed at Comic-Con

The Comic-Con convention in San Diego, California, is not only a place for superhero geeks, but Gleeks as well!

On Sunday, Fox hosted a panel for the show with creator Ryan Murphy and the cast taking questions.

Apparently, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch weren’t present according to Vulture.

Check out some of the secrets from Season 2 that the cast revealed to the crowd:

–There will be a “Rocky Horror Picture Show” themed episode. It’s possible that Chris Colfer will get to croon “Let’s do the Time Warp again.”

–Fan favorites Santana and Brittany may be kissing in an upcoming episode.

–The Britney Spears-themed episode will be “hallucinogenic”

–Tina will dump handicapped Artie for dancing sensation Mike Chang.

–Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth will return
