Christina Aguilera Has The New ‘Vogue’ On Upcoming Album

According to songwriter, Claude Kelly, Christina Aguilera has the modern day ‘Vogue’ on her upcoming album, Bionic.
Kelly says:
“I wrote this crazy ass song with Tricky Stewart called ‘Glam.’ It’s a hard club song that’s about high fashion. It’s really for the ladies about getting dressed and looking your best, working it in the club and getting glam and sexy before you go out.
Christina wants to talk about getting sexy and independent, but being strong at the same time. It will surprise people. I’m calling it a modern day ‘Vogue.’ I wouldn’t say it unless I believed it.”
Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ is legendary, but if anyone could pull if off, all bets would be on Christina Aguilera.
New Details On Christina Aguilera’s Upcoming Album

Christina Aguilera is revealing some new details on her upcoming studio album in the new issue of Marie Claire.
Aguilera’s album, which will be released in the Spring, will be titled Bionic. The first single will most likely be a track called ‘Glam’, which is described as a “poppy, hip-hop-inflected throwback to Madonna’s Vogue.”
The article also mentions the “addictive electronic” title track ‘Bionic’ and a ballad called ‘Lullaby’ which left the interviewer in tears.
When I hear the word throwback associated with Aguilera I get nervous. I wasn’t a big fan of her throwback on the Back To Basics album.

New Music: Adam Lambert ‘For Your Entertainment’

Adam Lambert unveiled a new cover for the first official single off his upcoming album For Your Entertainment. The cover is just as dramatic as his album cover, but far less campy. Lambert appears to be channeling Rihanna in this pic.
Lambert also debuted his single ‘For Your Entertainment’ on KIISfm’s morning show with Ryan Seacrest today. The song is not at all what we were expecting from the Idol runner-up. The track is completely pop, so much so that it could have been a Britney reject. But we have no shame…we’re loving it after a few listens.

Adam Lambert Responds To Album Cover Critics

Adam Lambert has been getting a lot of criticism for his upcoming For Your Entertainment album cover.
Lambert took to his official Twitter account to respond:
“Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It’s an omage to the past. It IS ridiculous.”
“For those that don’t get it: oh well… Glad to have gotten your attention.”
You definitely got everyone’s attention, but why stay stuck in the past? We want something fresh and new, something that reinvents the past.
I’m starting to wonder if Lambert thinks he’s the second coming of Lady Gaga…
