After a recent hospitalization due to a severe case of pneumonia, British singer George Michael’s health is improving, according to doctors treating him in Vienna.
The 48-year-old singer was forced to cancel the remainder of his European tour after being hospitalized in the Austrian capital.
“The latest development in Mr. Michael’s case — which has evolved from a severe pneumococcal infection — necessitated intensive care due to its severity and extension,” said professors Gottfried Locker and Christoph Zielinski. “We are happy to announce that Mr. Michael is improving steadily with an impressive regression of pneumonic symptoms and follows a steady rate of improvement as hoped. As we said previously, complete rest and peace and quiet are mandatory.”
The Grammy award-winning singer will continue to recover before eventually returning to work.

Student Sent Home For Wearing ‘I Heart Lady Gay Gay’ T-shirt

Last week, 15-year-old Cole Goforth at Tennessee’s Greenbrier High School was been sent home for wearing an “I heart Lady Gay Gay” T-shirt from Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour. A school official claimed “We’ve had a few disruptions the last few days, and we thought the slogan on that shirt would continue to escalate those incidents that had occurred.”
Quickly to the 15-year-old’s defense, Lady Gaga tweeted “It reminds me of my commitment + love for u, and the deep unconditional devotion I feel to write music that will liberate you from prejudice.”
She continued “Thank u for wearing your tee-shirt proud at school, you make me so proud, at the monsterball, you are an inspiration to us all. I love you.X”
What do you think? Should Cole have been allowed to wear his ‘I heart Lady Gay Gay’ t-shirt?
Fox News Thinks Lady Gaga Has Gone Too Far In ‘Telephone’ Video

And here’s the conservative reaction we were anticipating…
Sandy Rios, President of The Culture Campaign, says ‘Beyoncé, Gaga, gay lesbian lovers, I mean, it’s disgusting.” And I bet she’s against gay marriage, too. Rios also described the video as “poison for the minds of our kids.”
I don’t think Gaga’s the one we should be concerned with here. The conservatives are taking this one way too far. It’s a music video, a short film. It’s not real. And what world are you living in Sandy Rios? The only reason childhood innocence exists is because we, as a society, shelter kids from the realities of the world that they will inevitably discover on their own. Society creates this fantasy world that all is well and everyone’s happy, but it’s not real. Wake up. Gaga is a pop culture musician/artist who is simply expressing herself. Children should be allowed to express themselves instead of being condemned for who they are or what they feel. Sandy Rios would probably die if her child was gay.
