Talks are in the early stages and nothing has been finalized, but the cast recordings have been blowing up the iTunes charts and fans can’t seem to get enough of the hit FOX television show. The shows first soundtrack will be released on November 3rd and it’s guaranteed to score big.

Here’s a sneak peak at this week’s upcoming episode of Glee!

This week’s episode is packed full of great covers including Mercedes covering Jill Scott’s ‘Hate on Me’ and a Rachel/Finn version of Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown’s ‘No Air’. But the most pivotal song to the shows story-line this week will be the glee club performance of Avril Lavigne’s ‘Keep Holding On’.

14 Tracks From the Fox Hit Series Glee in the Top 200 Song Chart at iTunes!

The music of Glee is dominating the charts this week. The cast’s brilliant version of Queen’s “Somebody To Love,” which the New York Times called “truly rousing,” is currently at #3. Other cast versions in the Top 200 Songs chart include Heart’s “Alone”(#8), “Maybe This Time” from “Cabaret” (#21), Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” (#18), Celine Dion’s “Taking Chances” (#31), Carrie Underwood’s “Last Name” (#34), Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” (#55), Jazmine Sullivan’s “Bust Your Windows” (#70), REO Speedwagon’s “Can’t Fight This Feeling” (#97), Duffy’s “Mercy” (#105), “On My Own” from “Les Miserables” (#111), Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” (#103), Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” (#139) and Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It” (#167).

Glee has had almost 1 million downloads! Amazing.

The first official soundtrack, Glee: The Music, Volume 1, hits stores on Tuesday, November 3.

I think there should be a nationwide Glee tour with the cast of the show!
