Rapper T.I. Added To List Of Performers At BET Awards ’10

Every year BET brings you the hottest awards show on cable television and this year will be no different. Hosted by entertainment superstar Queen Latifah with performances by Nicki Minaj, Drake, Trey Songz and Diddy-Dirty Money the BET AWARDS ’10 promises to bring the house down!
Newly added to the line-up is the highly anticipated and explosive return of the “King of the South.” Multi-platinum, rap heavyweight T.I. will hit the stage in his first, televised performance since his release. BET is pulling out all the stops this year bringing you the biggest and best in music, sports, television, and entertainment.
The BET AWARDS ’10 will broadcast live from the Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 8:00 P.M.
Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Nominated for 2010 BET Award

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are among nominees at upcoming 2010 BET Awards, which will be held on June 27 at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium. Justin was nominated for Best New Artist and Selena Gomez was nominated for the Young Stars Award.
Additionally, BET nominations, which was announced on Tuesday, May 18, were led by rapper Jay-Z, who received five nods, including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Best Collaboration for “Empire State of Mind” and Video of the Year for “Empire State of Mind” also and “Run this Town”.
Queen Latifah will be hosting 2010 BET Awards. “We are thrilled that Queen Latifah is going to host the BET AWARDS ’10,” Stephen Hill stated.
“Her versatility as a performer perfectly matches the dynamism of our show. This will be the perfect 10,” Hill further gushed. “Get ready for stirring performances, a surprise that will knock you out and massive quantities of fun; all helmed by ‘The Queen’.”

Looks like Jay-Z’s got an incredible list of collaborations on his upcoming album, Blueprint 3.
We’ve already heard ‘Run This Town’ which features Rihanna and Kanye West, but this is just the beginning. Upcoming tracks include “Empire State of Mind” with Alicia Keys, “Real As It Gets” with Young Jeezy, “On to the Next One” with Swizz Beatz and “Off That” with Drake. Pharrell (“So Ambitious”) and ‘Ye (“Hate”) also make appearances, Jay-Z also has a lot of new talent as well, from Kid Cudi (“Already Home”) to Mr Hudson (“Young Forever”) and rapper J. Cole (“A Star Is Born”).
Jay-Z’s album drops September 11th.
