Demi Lovato To Have Guest Appearance On “Grey’s Anatomy”

Disney superstar Demi Lovato has landed a guest role on ABC’s award winning Thursday night drama Grey’s Anatomy.

She’s just full of big news lately! First she confirms she’s dating Joe Jonas and now she lands a gig on Grey’s Anatomy! The role on Grey’s is reportedly quite different than her normal work. She is rumored to be playing a schizophrenic in the episode for Grey’s Anatomy which will air in May.

Demi took it to Twitter to share her excitement. She said, “I’m so thrilled to announce that this week I’m shooting Grey’s Anatomy!!!!!!!! AHHH!!!!”

Paige Miles Sent Home On Idol

Finally! I don’t understand how Paige Miles made it this for or why Simon claimed that she had one of the best female voices in the competition during Hollywood week. She sucks!

During last night’s show, the judges didn’t even let her sing to save herself. Their decision was unanimous when it was announced that she had the lowest votes this week.

The highlight of the show was Miley Cyrus’ performance of ‘When I Look At You’ from her upcoming film The Last Song. A lot of people don’t give Miley enough credit for her talent. Last night, she delivered a stellar performance worthy of praise.

New couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato were also on hand to perform their duet ‘Make A Wave’. The song is ok. I think the message is actually bigger than the song itself is. Sounds like Demi thinks she’s Christina Aguilera with all of those vocal runs.

Next week, Usher will be the guest mentor the contestants on R&B night.

Miley Cyrus To Mentor Top 11 On American Idol

Miley Cyrus is set to mentor the top 11 contestants on American Idol tonight. Cyrus will be teaching the Idols how to perform in costume, how to secure your wig, and, most importantly, how to pole dance. We kid, we kid.

Tonight’s theme is Billboard No. 1 hits, so it’s fitting for Cyrus to mentor the contestants. It’s also the perfect opportunity for Cyrus to promote her newest film, The Last Song.

Cyrus will also appear live on Idol’s results show Wednesday to perform “When I Look At You” from The Last Song’s soundtrack along with fellow Disney buds Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, who will perform their duet “Make A Wave.”

Demi Lovato And Joe Jonas Release New Music Video And Admit They’re Dating

After several radio interviews and references to Joe Jonas as her best friend, Demi Lovato let it slip that she and Jonas Brother, Joe Jonas, are dating.

During a recent interview with Billy Bush, Bush asked if Demi had ever dated a Jonas and her response was, “Ummm, maybe.”

And that’s when Billy continued to push the issue:

BB: Which one? Joe?
DL: Yeah. He’s actually… he’s my best friend.
BB: So you guys went from boyfriend-girlfriend to best friends?
DL: No kind of the opposite.
BB: Oh? So you’re dating him now?
DL: Umm, yeah he is my best friend and he is incredible… [He's a] complete gentleman… [He] treats me to the most amazing places… He’s perfect.

This group of Disney stars is so incestuous, aren’t they?!

Kevin Jonas Is A Softy, A Big Ol Softy

Newlywed Kevin Jonas struggled to hold back the tears once he laid eyes on his wife-to-be Danielle Deleasa walking down the aisle. He confessed to People magazine he “lost it” and burst into tears.

The famous Jonas Brother wed his longtime girlfriend in a romantic ceremony at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York on December 19, 2009. Kevin’s father, Kevin Sr. was even the ordained minister.

They were joined by over 400 guests, including celebrity pals Joey Fatone, Demi Lovato, and Jordin Sparks. Jonas admits he was very emotional when it was time to exchange vows, because Deleasa looked so beautiful.

He tells People magazine, “When I saw her, I lost it. Once I lost it, it was like a tidal wave.”

Deleasa felt the same.

Deleasa adds, “I was adjusting my veil, and I started crying before I got to the aisle.”

Kris Allen Nominated For People’s Choice Award

Kris Allen was on hand yesterday, November 10th, to help announce the nominees for the 2010 People’s Choice Awards.

Kris is nominated in the favorite breakout star category. He’ll be going up against fellow Idol alum and friend Adam Lambert as well as Disney starlet Demi Lovato, Susan Boyle and pop diva Lady GaGa.

Demi Lovato Live For Walmart Soundcheck

Disney star Demi Lovato’s performance for Walmart Soundcheck will be released as a CD/DVD pack on Tuesday, November 10th.

The CD/DVD will contain performances of six songs from her two albums, Don’t Forget and Here We Go Again, including “La La Land,” “Get Back,” “Solo” and her latest single, “Remember December.”
There is also an exclusive backstage interview where Demi talks about her new music and evolving sound.

Demi Lovato Releases PSAs for National Bullying Prevention Awareness

Disney star and music sensation Demi Lovato has released three important public service announcements (PSAs) urging teens to join the movement against bullying for PACER Center’s fourth annual National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week, Oct. 4-10, 2009.

In the video, Demi tells how she was bullied in school and ultimately left school to be home-schooled. “I hope that by sharing my story, it will encourage other teens to speak out,” Lovato said. “No one deserves to be bullied.”

Every day, more than 160,000 children nationwide stay home from school to avoid bullying. Up to one-third of the nation’s students are bullied during the academic year, and the results of bullying can be devastating. PACER encourages people nationwide to work together during National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week to increase awareness of the prevalence and impact of bullying on all children.

Demi Lovato Is A Frequent Flyer

Becoming quite the traveler, Demi Lovato arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport earlier today (August 24).
The Disney darling looked her usual trendy self in a one-shoulder black top, purple leggings, army-esque boots, and a black and brown hat.

In other news, the singer celebrated her 17th birthday last week on Thursday and was pleasantly surprised during a concert in Fairfax, VA when her two sisters showed up on stage while the crowd sang “Happy Birthday.”
Not only that, the Jonas Brothers taped a special video for her birthday and showed it during the concert. Concertgoers screamed in disbelief upon watching the clip.
