Taylor Swift To Create A Greeting Card Line

Fresh off her triumph at the Country Music Association Awards, Taylor Swift has won a deal to create a line of greeting cards for American Greetings Corp.
American Greetings CEO Zev Weiss says Swift’s abilities as a storyteller and songwriter make her a natural for writing cards that will appeal to all ages.
The Cleveland-based company said Tuesday that cards, gift wrap, stationery, online greetings and other related products overseen by Swift will begin appearing in the spring.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In a statement, Swift calls the opportunity to write and design greeting cards “a wonderful experience.” The CMA entertainer of the year crowned last week says she has always been fascinated by feelings and how people express them.
Taylor Swift “Fearless Tour 2010″ Tickets Sold Out In Minutes

Taylor Swift’s hitting the road again, and tickets for the first fifteen dates of the singer’s upcoming Fearless 2010 tour sold out within minutes on Friday.
A rep for the singer tells The Associated Press that tickets to four New York-area shows sold out within two minutes on Ticketmaster.com this morning.
The Fearless 2010 Tour will take Taylor, and tour mate Kellie Pickler, to 37 shows in 29 cities in the U.S. and Canada, as well as seven concerts in Australia. Prices range from $25-$69.
Taylor’s 2008 sophomore album, Fearless, has sold more than 1 million copies internationally since its debut last November. Taylor Swift fans can get more tickets at other ticket outlets selling at a slightly higher price. For more on Taylor’s Fearless 2010 Tour, visit www.taylorswift.com.
Tim McGraw’s Latest Album “Southern Voice” Drops October 20th

Tim McGraw will launch his upcoming album, Southern Voice, out on October 20, with a series of national television appearances. On Oct 12th he performed on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and played an exclusive ‘Live on Letterman’ webcast concert from the Ed Sullivan Theater.
Today, October 16th, McGraw will return to the “Late Show” for another performance and a chat with the host.
“Southern Voice” is Tim’s first album in two-and-a-half years; and it was recorded in Nashville, TN with his longtime producer, Byron Gallimore. An extensive tour is planned for next year.
Later this month, Tim is set to perform on “The Today Show” (10/23) as part of the Toyota Concert Series in Rockefeller Plaza. He’s set to perform on “The Jay Leno Show” October 27, where he’ll be joined by special guest Gregg Allman. And on October 29th he’ll perform on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.

Garth Brooks To Come Out…… Of Retirement

Garth Brooks is coming out of retirement.
The country superstar said Thursday at a news conference in Nashville that he will end his retirement with an extended engagement at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas.
The move has been rumored in the music industry for weeks.
The 47-year-old retired in 2000 to spend more time with his three children. He’s occasionally popped up in special appearances at awards shows and charity events, but has mostly stayed out of the limelight.
