Christina Aguilera is busy making the promotional rounds for her new gig on NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ but she took some time to talk about her “Mickey Mouse” co-star Britney Spears.

Aguilera tweeted a congratulatory message to Spears last week when her album, ‘Femme Fatale,’ was released last week. However she does admit she hasn’t spent enough time listening to it to comment on it. We know that’s a joke, you know she’s memorized the album.

“You know what, I haven’t heard the whole thing in its entirety,” Aguilera said when asked about ‘Femme Fatale.’ “I’ve been really hard at work on this show. I haven’t had quite the chance to go through the whole thing.”

The singer only had nice things to say about her former pop music “rival,” however.

“I am a huge supporter of her in light of the fact that both of our careers started off together and are still going and going strong,” Aguilera said about Spears. “I just think at this point in the game it’s extremely important to be supportive of fellow artists and especially females who get pitted against each other and torn apart.”

Aguilera added, “As an old friend of mine from the ‘Mickey Mouse Club,’ I think it’s important at this stage in the game to show my support.”

Well, there’s finally some good news in the world of Christina Aguilera. Aguilera has just signed on to judge NBC’s new reality singing competition called ‘The Voice.’ She will be joined by fellow judges Cee-Lo Green and Maroon 5′s Adam Levine. Carson Daly will host the new series that was created be reality TV mogul Mark Burnett.

“I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it,” Aguilera said in a statement. “To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists’ careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms.mI am so happy to be working with fellow Grammy Award winners Adam and Cee Lo as I feel there is so much we can all bring to The Voice.”

“When I decided to produce The Voice, I immediately knew that my first choice for a female coach had to be Christina Aguilera,” Burnett said. “Christina has a perfect voice and is an undeniable force in the music business. She is the epitome of The Voice.” [Via Entertainment Weekly]

And don’t think ‘The Voice’ is just like any other reality singing competition. The judges are not allowed to see the contestants when they audition, but rather judge them based on their voices alone. When they hear something they like, the will push a button to accept the singer and their chair will turn around to reveal who they really are. The winner will win $100,000 and a recording contract.

Will you be tuning in for ‘The Voice’?

Christina Aguilera will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in Texas on Feb. 6.

She should feel very honored that they invited her to perform…..(Burlesque…just saying.)

The five-time Grammy award winning singer will be making an encore at the NFL championship. She was part of the halftime show during the 2000 Super Bowl.

The NFL and Fox made the announcement Monday.

Other stars to have sung the national anthem at the Super Bowl include Carrie Underwood, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Mariah Carey and Beyonce Knowles.

The previously announced halftime show will feature The Black Eyed Peas.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Green Bay Packers at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for the NFL title.

This will be interesting..most likely boring.

Christina Aguilera gave a stellar performance on the finale of Dancing With The Stars last night. Following her mediocre performance at the American Music Awards, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Christina blew the roof off the DWTS set.

In an interview to promote her upcoming film, Burlesque, Christina Aguilera discussed new details on her new album that she is currently in the studio recording.

“This is sort of left over from the Bionic phase,” said Christina while giving Instyle a tour of her wardrobe. “Now I’m actually in the studio recording the next album which has a different vibe, so this is already old news.”

”I think now we’re back to going a little deeper,” she continued, “in the vein where I recorded my Stripped record, which was very personal and more introspective.”

Katy Perry looks amazing in her latest video for ‘Firework’. The video reminds me of Christina Aguilera’s ‘Beautiful,’ from the outsiders to the gay couple kissing. But it wouldn’t be the same without fireworks shooting out from Perry’s boobs, would it? But, in the video’s defense, fireworks shoot out from everyone’s chest. Overall, good video.

Christina Aguilera “You Lost Me” music video!

Pop diva Christina Aguilera premiered the second music video single from her Bionic album, “You Lost Me”.

The video for the somber power ballad was directed and written by Anthony Mandler, who’s best known for shooting about Rihanna music videos.

Anthony Mandler and Christina Aguilera did an incredible job with this music video, and you can really feel the emotion when you watch the video.

“You Lost Me” definitely makes up for awful “Not Myself Tonight” video. However unfortunately for Christina, this single will not be a big hit.
