Lily Allen To Tie The Knot

If LeAnn Rimes, Natalie Portman and Hugh Hefner were not enough celebrities to get engaged over the Christmas weekend, Lily Allen has decided to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Sam Cooper.

The British singer and her beau reportedly got engaged on Christmas Day while vacationing in Bali.

The happy news arrives nearly two months after Allen suffered a miscarriage and was subsequently hospitalized for a blood-poisoning condition.

Katy Perry became Katy Brand on Saturday, wedding British comedian Russell Brand at a luxury resort in India. A spokesperson for the couple told Hello! Magazine, “The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couple’s closest family and friends, was performed by a Christian minister and long time friend of the Hudson Family.”

Katy Perry’s real name is Katheryn Hudson.

The wedding took place at the Aman e-Khas resort outside of the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary. Trees lining the path to the entrance were illuminated with white and gold lights, and the sound of Indian instruments and singing could be heard throughout the night.

Animals were heavily featured in the wedding ceremony, with Russell arriving in a procession that included elephants, horses and camels. The comedian even bought a tiger for his new wife – a rare female Bengal tiger named Machli, who lives at the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary. The animal will continue to live at the park, and Russell’s money will help to support the sanctuary’s wildlife fund, reports Radar Online.

Katy Perry began her wedding day wearing a blue sari, but later changed into a dove gray Elie Saab haute couture dress with lace sleeves.

Robbie Williams marries actress in Beverly Hills

British singer Robbie Williams has married U.S. actress Ayda Field in his Beverly Hills mansion this past weekend.

Spokesman Murray Chalmers said in a statement Sunday that the pair held a ceremony on the grounds of their home in Los Angeles on Saturday.

People.com reported that a small group of 75 guests attended the 36-year-old singer’s wedding.

Williams is hugely popular in Britain and the rest of Europe, first as a member of the boy band Take That in the 1990s, and later when he pursued a solo singing career. He is known for such hits as “Millennium” and “Rock DJ.”

Country Superstar Carrie Underwood marries hockey player Mike Fisher

Grammy-winning country singer Carrie Underwood has married Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher at a resort in Georgia this past weekend.

The wedding took place Saturday at the Reynolds Plantation resort in Greensboro, Ga.

“Yes, Mike and Carrie are married,” Underwood’s publicist Jessie Schmidt said in an e-mail to The Associated Press early Sunday.

Carrie Underwood, 27, rose to fame after winning the fourth season of American Idol, and Mike Fisher, 30, is a forward for the NHL team.

Kevin Jonas Is A Softy, A Big Ol Softy

Newlywed Kevin Jonas struggled to hold back the tears once he laid eyes on his wife-to-be Danielle Deleasa walking down the aisle. He confessed to People magazine he “lost it” and burst into tears.

The famous Jonas Brother wed his longtime girlfriend in a romantic ceremony at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York on December 19, 2009. Kevin’s father, Kevin Sr. was even the ordained minister.

They were joined by over 400 guests, including celebrity pals Joey Fatone, Demi Lovato, and Jordin Sparks. Jonas admits he was very emotional when it was time to exchange vows, because Deleasa looked so beautiful.

He tells People magazine, “When I saw her, I lost it. Once I lost it, it was like a tidal wave.”

Deleasa felt the same.

Deleasa adds, “I was adjusting my veil, and I started crying before I got to the aisle.”
