Lady Gaga Surpasses Britney Spears As The Most Popular Person On Twitter

Lady Gaga has surpassed Britney Spears as the most followed person on Twitter — for now.
She has more than 5.7 million followers. She overtook Spears over the weekend and posted a video late Saturday on YouTube.
Gaga called her fans her “little monsters” as she thanked them for beginning “my reign as Twitter queen.”
Spears, Ashton Kutcher, Ellen DeGeneres and an account run by President Barack Obama’s political organization, Organizing for America, all have more than 5 million followers.
The most followed title often shifts rapidly, and fans frequently organize to boost their favorite’s tally.
Justin Bieber in 3D?

Justin Bieber will not only be publishing a memoir, “Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story,” in October but he will also be making his big-screen debut in time for next Valentine’s Day.
Paramount Pictures confirmed Tuesday that it will release a 3D biopic about the Canadian teen idol’s life on February 11.
The untitled film will reportedly include footage from his current tour. Davis Guggenheim, who won an Oscar for directing Al Gore in “An Inconvenient Truth,” is in negotiations to shoot the project.
Justin is very excited about the project, he said it was “incredible news” on Twitter Monday. “Next Valentine’s we r coming with a major 3D Movie telling the story with an Oscar winning director and also filming the tour at MSG in NYC!!” said Bieber.

Kanye West Joins Twitter

With the release of a new album approaching, Kanye West is making sure he’s up to date with the social networking sites.
He joined Twitter on Wednesday, one day after going to the offices of Facebook, in Palo Alto, Calif., to preview some of his new material. He already has over 220,000 followers but he himself is not following anyone.
Videos of him rapping a cappella while standing on a conference table have been posted on YouTube. On his website afterward, West posted a letter to Facebook, thanking the staff for their support: “Your energy was a gift so electric, so genuine, that it really helped me give my best.”
The “Love Lockdown” star has already disseminated new information on his upcoming projects via the service. West tweeted that his upcoming fifth studio album is no longer called “Good A–Job” and that he’s “bouncing a couple titles around now.” West’s new as-of-yet untitled album is expected to be released Sept. 14.

Grammy nominated Mexican singing sensation, Paulina Rubio has announced she’s pregnant.
This will be Paulina’s first child with PR executive husband Nicolas Vallejo Najera. The couple wed in 2007.
Paulina Rubio, who is 38 years old, broke the news on her Twitter page and she could barely contain her excitement.
She writes, “Life has a new meaning… guys, I want to confess with great excitement your (sic) going to be aunts/uncles!!! I am going to be a mom!!!!”

Kelly Clarkson Is Furious Over A Leaked Song

Kelly Clarkson is not a happy camper! A demo track she was working on was leaked on the internet.
The American Idol winner is holding hackers responsible for leaking the track titled, “Cleopatra” without her permission.
Clarkson took it to her Twitter page to show how disgusted she is:
“Cleopatra is NOT a song on my next record! It was written for another artist! I have no idea how it leaked, it’s a rough demo, unfinished! I’m so tired of disrespecting, lying, sneaky little trolls that pretend to be human.”

M.I.A. “Born Free” Music Video Banned From YouTube

In a case of Erykah Badu Deja Vu, M.I.A.’s new video “Born Free” is so graphic its been pulled from YouTube.com. The Sri Lankan rap star’s nine-minute short film has been banned from YouTube.com due to its disturbing scenes of graphic violence and partial nudity.
The controversial music video premiered on M.I.A.’s official website on Monday. M.I.A. revealed shortly after that thanks to bosses at her label UMG, the video is not welcome on YouTube.
M.I.A. Tweeted Monday:“FUCK UMG WHO WONT SHOW IT ON YOUTUBE! FOR THE U.S >>>>>>WATCH HERE http://miauk.com/,” she Tweeted Monday. “OK NOT UMG FAULT!”
In the “Born Free” vid, military police round up red-headed boys in a series of violent raids and beat them to death. In one particularly disturbing scene, a 10-year-old boy is shot in the head in an effort to force other children to escape the concentration camps.

Justin Bieber Does Saturday Night Live

Justin Bieber did some skits and sang on Saturday Night live this past weekend. He did pretty well and Tina Fey was great as usual.
Justin said that his role on the show was unforgettable. Here’s what he Tweeted: “Will never forget 2nite. It was INCREDIBLE!! Thank u for the opportunity and thanks to everyone at SNL and Tina Fey for just being fun (sic).”
Bieber also sang ‘Baby’, as well as ‘U Smile’ from his new LP on the NBC late-night entertainment show.

India Arie Thinks Lady Gaga Went Too Far With The “Telephone” Music Video

Singer/songwriter India Arie took it to her Twitter page to let her followers know that she thinks Lady Gaga is “socially irresponsible” for creating the “Telephone” music video.
India Tweeted, “Am I the only one who thinks the telephone video is going a bit too far?” “I agree gaga is being her image… I dig her creative mind But still…Thers a such thing as socially irresponsible (sic). I respect the creative mind but disagree with the ‘choices’ as a dish meant to be served for mass consumption… Crazy to me that the Dark, underbelly, shock at all cost thing is a TREND like asymmetrical hair and big shoulder jackets. Slippery slope!”

Lady Gaga is honoring her fans with a new tattoo. The Grammy winner TwitPic’d a photo of her new tattoo on Twitter Tuesday.
The tattoo on the inside of her left arm reads “Little Monsters,” which is Lady Gaga’s affectionate term for her fans.
She tweeted, “Look what i did last night. little monsters forever, on the arm that holds my mic. xx….”
Katy Perry’s Twitter Account Was Hijacked

Katy Perry was upset her producer hacked into her Twitter.com account to post a series of embarrassing messages, such as “Is it normal to have the recurrent rash with blisters on my vagina???” while another said, “Oops I cr**ped my pants! It’s messy. What should I do?”
The I Kissed A Girl hit-maker was stunned when she discovered Lukasz Gottwald, also known as Dr. Luke, logged onto her page and wrote obscene comments for all her friends and fans to see.
After realizing she’d been pranked, Katy Perry blasted the songwriter, writing, “Hey stop! I leave my computer for one second. Stop hacking my Twitter.”
You have to be careful! Never leave your phone or computer unlocked!
