Could it be that Ke$ha’s heading back to her roots for her next album?

“Coming from Nashville, I love Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard, and want to make those records too. But right now, it’s my ‘f**k off’, fun period and I’m gonna enjoy it,” she told Q magazine.

Ke$ha Slams Britney Spears

Keha kesha blah blah blah hot

Ke$ha slammed Britney Spears for lip-syncing on Miss Spears worldwide Circus concert tour. Ke$ha believes when an artist lip-syncs they are cheating fans by not singing live.

We all know that there were reports of Britney’s concert goers that walked out of her show in Australia, but none of us were really surprised the Princess of Pop was Lip-Syncing. That’s just what she does.

Ke$ha doesn’t think any artist should lip-sync, heres what she said:

“I think that’s bulls**t. I don’t think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show. I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance. If you are going to do a combination of the two, you should make it very clear when you are singing and very clear when you are dancing. I would never do that to my fans.

“No offense to her specifically but people have asked me before to mime. I have been up at three in the morning for a television show with jet lag but I refuse to mime. It’s treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing. Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time but I would rather be off (key) and be real and genuine about it to my fans. I don’t want to treat my fans like they are stupid.”

“That is my take on my fans and life in general. My whole record is super-honest. I am really honest. When I am singing I may sound s**t sometimes but at least you’ll know I’m singing.”

Question for our readers……did you see Ke$ha’s performance on George Lopez’s talk show? We rest our case.

Ke$ha’s Third Single Might Not Be The One She Wants

Keha kesha blah blah blah hot

“If I could pick any song on the record, I’d want it to be ‘Stephen’, but I think we’re going for either ‘Your Love Is My Drug’ or ‘Take It Off’. ‘Stephen’ and Animal’ are my two favourites on the album though. ‘Stephen’ shows the vulnerable side of me but it’s still a funny pop song. It’s me saying I’m totally obsessive and in love with this guy, but he’s blowing me off in a pretty funny way. I like ‘Animal’ because it’s one of the last songs I wrote for the record and it just embodies everything I think about humans – it’s my take on human beings as an animal.” [source]

So what do you guys think should be Ke$ha’s third single? ‘Your Love Is My Drug’ or ‘Take It Off’?

Keha kesha blah blah blah hot

If you thought Ke$ha was just another one hit wonder, think again. After smashing records and exploding onto the scene, Ke$ha’s ‘Blah Blah Blah’, the follow up to her chart-topping single ‘Tik Tok’, is just as catchy and features 3OH!3.

“The whole concept of the video was a bunch of douche-y guys macking on me as usual, and me making them eat their toupees or other various items,” she previously told MTV. “At one point, I get to be strapped to this harness and bouncing around everywhere, and it was really cool.”

Ke$ha Tops The Billboard Charts More Than Once

Ke$ha has a lot to celebrate. Not only did her album Animal knock Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed A Dream out of the top spot, but she also has the No. 1 single on the Hot 100 chart with ‘Tik Tok’. Ke$ha is the first artist to top both charts since Leona Lewis in 2008.

But it doesn’t stop there!

Ke$ha’s second single ‘Blah Blah Blah’ skyrocketed to the No. 7 spot on the Hot 100 chart and debuted at the No. 2 spot on the Digital Songs Chart. ‘Tik Tok’ is No. 1 on the Digital Songs Chart. Ke$ha is the first artist to hold down both spots since the Black Eyed Peas did it with ‘Boom Boom Pow’ and ‘I Gotta Feeling’.

Congratulations.
