Beyonce Makes First Appearance Post-Baby

The first pictures of Beyonce have emerged since the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy, who was born four weeks ago. Beyonce was out to celebrate hubby Jay-Z’s first show at Carnegie Hall.

Wearing a form-fitting red dress, she hit up a post-show party held at Jay’s 40/40 Club in New York City. And while Beyoncé could have premiered her post-baby body on a splashy red carpet, celebrity experts note that the more understated move is very B.

For the appearance, Beyoncé wore a bright red Temperley London dress, Christian Louboutin heels and an Alexander McQueen clutch.

Lana Del Rey Says SNL Performance Was “Fine” and Thinks She “Looked Beautiful”

Lana Del Rey received harsh criticism over her debut SNL performance. But in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, the emerging pop star says she thinks she did a perfectly fine job on the legendary sketch show, saying,”I actually felt good about it. I thought I looked beautiful and sang fine … I know some people didn’t like it, but that’s just the way I perform, and my fans know that.”

Del Rey did admit to being nervous, though in a more general sense, saying live performance has never been her strong suit because she is “not a natural performer or exhibitionist” and that when she was younger she “hated the focus; it made me feel strange.”

Del Rey continued, “There’s backlash about everything I do. It’s nothing new,” she told the music mag. “When I walk outside, people have something to say about it. It wouldn’t have mattered if I was absolutely excellent. People don’t have anything nice to say about this project.”

Carrie Underwood Scores Big at American Country Awards

Monday night at the American Country Awards in Las Vegas, Carrie Underwood collected 3 awards at the event, including Female Artist of the Year, and Music Video and Single of the Year by a Female Artist for “Mama’s Song.”

These kinds of shows are typically another easy win for Taylor Swift, but despite six nominations, she ended the night with no awards.

Katy Perry looks amazing in her latest video for ‘Firework’. The video reminds me of Christina Aguilera’s ‘Beautiful,’ from the outsiders to the gay couple kissing. But it wouldn’t be the same without fireworks shooting out from Perry’s boobs, would it? But, in the video’s defense, fireworks shoot out from everyone’s chest. Overall, good video.
