Rebecca Black To Appear At MTV O Awards

You know you love her! After all, she’s given Friday an insane amount of publicity. Monday could really use some help, though. Maybe that will be her follow up single. If you’ve been living under a rock, we’re talking about internet sensation Rebecca Black!
Rebecca Black is slated to appear at MTV’s inaugural O Music Awards, www.omusicawards.com, a multiplatform franchise and award event that celebrates and honors the art, creativity, personality, technology and migration of music into the digital space. Black will appear alongside performers Matt & Kim and Chiddy Bang live from a surprise location in Las Vegas TONIGHT, April 28th at 11pm ET/8pm PST at OMusicAwards.com.
The award event will begin when a flash mob will descend upon a surprise iconic Las Vegas location that will serve as the backdrop for the festivities. Matt & Kim will kick off the show and be featured predominately throughout the live event. Additional performers include Chiddy Bang, Lil B, Lupe Fiasco, Mumford & Sons with Edward Sharpe and Old Crow Medicine Show, and Foster the People, who will perform at the central hub in Las Vegas, as well as other locations from around the country. Presenters include Ke$ha, Cee Lo Green, B.o.B, Wiz Khalifa, Robyn and Theophilus London.

Today marks the official kick off of the week long MTV O Music Awards celebration, www.omusicawards.com. Today at 4pm, MTV will be live streaming a panel with Jermaine Dupri, legendary music video director Wayne Isham, and music journalists Caryn Ganz (Yahoo Music) and Brenna Ehrlich (Mashable) where they will debate the nominees for the most innovative music video. At the end of the live stream, the winner will be announced. Hosted by James Montgomery with appearances by Robyn, Tim Nordwind of OK Go, Andy Grammer, Perry Farrell, My Chemical Romance, Ke$ha, and more. The 2011 Brit Awards Winners List

The Brits went ‘back to the music’ last night with Tinie Tempah and Arcade Fire proving the biggest winners after walking away with two gongs each.
Tinie, the most nominated artist of the night, won in half his categories taking away best British Breakthrough Act and Best Single for Pass Out.
Canadians Arcade Fire won in both the International Group and International Album categories, where their third album The Suburbs beat offerings from the likes of Eminem and Kings Of Leon.
Rap’n'B star Plan B was named best British Solo Male Artist, while Laura Marling trumped Cheryl Cole and Ellie Goulding to take home the British Female Solo Artist title.
The now five-piece Take That won in the British Group category, with Mark Owen telling Robbie Williams:
“Can I say, thanks for coming back mate… It’s a real pleasure for the five of us to be up here.”
Relative newcomers Mumford And Sons won the coveted MasterCard British Album of the Year for their debut Sigh No More, while Rihanna, Cee Lo Green and Justin Bieber took gongs in the International Female, Male and Breakthrough Act categories respectively.
As previously announced, Jessie J was awarded the Critics’ Choice title, making her the fourth consecutive female to take home the gong.

Current Grammy nominees Arcade Fire, Eminem, Cee Lo Green, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert, and Katy Perry are the first performers announced for the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast.
