The American Music Awards are November 21st in Los Angeles and it’s gearing up to be quite a show. Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Ke$ha have been added to the line up of performers that includes Christina Aguilera, Usher, Pink, and Bon Jovi.

Adam Lambert Live on The CBS Early Show

ABC’s loss is CBS’s gain!

ABC pulled Adam Lambert from Good Morning America following his performance on the American Music Awards Sunday night in fear that he may be too racy for morning television. CBS, recognizing a good opportunity, scooped up Adam to appear on The Early Show this morning and Lambert delivered a performance that will have people talking, once again, about his talent and not his display of sexuality at the AMAs.

Lambert performed ‘Whataya Want From Me?’ and ‘Music Again’ from his debut album For Your Entertainment.

New Video: Adam Lambert ‘For Your Entertainment’

With all of the controversy surrounding Adam Lambert following his scandalous performance at the American Music Awards, we can’t help but to think he knew exactly what he was doing. The attention he has received since the show is exactly what he wanted and needed with his debut album coming out.

Lambert has released the official video for his first single ‘For Your Entertainment’ off of his debut album of the same name.

Adam Lambert’s AMA Performance Draws Complaints

ABC television said it has received about 1,500 complaints on Monday about the sexually-charged performance by “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert at the American Music Awards on Sunday.

Millions of viewers saw Lambert simulate oral sex with a back-up dancer, plant a passionate kiss on the mouth of a male keyboard player and gesture to the audience with his middle finger during the closing act of the live music awards show.

ABC cut the most controversial part of his act — Lambert rubbing the face of a male dancer in his crotch — from the U.S. West Coast telecast that aired later on Sunday.

By the time the West Coast feed aired, Lambert’s performance was all the buzz on Twitter and the video of his performance had already been posted on YouTube.

The shows producers, Dick Clark Productions, said they did not know what Lambert had planned after seeing his rehearsals prior to the show. “We did not expect the impromptu moments,” a spokeswoman told Reuters.

“Adrenaline is a crazy, crazy, crazy feeling. Some of the things I love most about performing is when you’re up there and all of the sudden you just have these feelings, this rush that comes over you,” Lambert told CNN afterward.

It is unclear whether or not ABC is at risk for being fined by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for broadcasting indecent or profane material.
