50 Cent Says He Won’t Promote New Music
January 5, 2012 by iMusicDaily

Judging by a few posts on his Twitter, it seems that 50 Cent is not feeling optimistic. “I don’t think I’m gonna live much longer,” he wrote during a series of tweets. Earlier today, he clarified the remark: “To be conscious that life is short is not suicidal,” he wrote. “I’m good if I die tonight.”
The rapper also claimed that he has “lost all the faith in the team I’m on. I have nothing left to say. I will not be promoting my music.” The comment comes after months of discord between the artist and Interscope Records, who are expecting the delivery of his next album. Last month, 50 Cent released the self-produced mixtape The Big 10, marking the 10-year anniversary of 50 Cent Is the Future.
50 Cent has been keeping busy by concentrating on promoting Street King, his new energy drink, proceeds of which to go to fight world hunger. At an event last month for the launch of his new line of headphones, 50 Cent talked about signing Jersey Shore’s Pauly D to G-Note Records.

Could this finally be the start of Nicole Scherzinger’s successful solo career? She’s managed to keep her name in the spotlight after the Pussycat Dolls fell apart, but her solo efforts have failed to take off.

50 Cent Made $75,000 For Saying “Hey”

Famous Rapper 50 Cent could easily be called a genius! Why you ask? Well this man found a way to make $75,000 dollars for saying one simple word, “hey!”
There is a new hot nightspot in Liverpool, England, called Bamboo and the owners of the club convinced (I don’t know how much convincing was needed) 50 Cent to make a guest appearance at the club and greet the club goers. To top it off they set 50 up with two hot girls for the night as well as free champagne.
According to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper some of the clubbers were offended that the only thing 50 Cent said was “hey.” A source tells the publication, “It was the most blinging night ever. People though 50 Cent might perform a track or two, given his massive fee, but he just greeted the crowd with ‘Hey’ and got back to his two personally requested ladies, who were lavishing booze on him.”
50 Cent Slams Heather Mills In New Song

50 Cent said that Paul McCartney didn’t know who he was when he asked Paul for an autograph. Even though McCartney didn’t know who the rapper was he signed an autograph for him. 50 is so pleased that he included McCartney one of his new songs, titled “Do you think about me?” However I don’t know if McCartney will like what he hears….
50 Cent rhymes, “It’s like Paul McCartney stuck in my head/fell in love with a b-tch walked away with one leg/she ain’t even have to run to get away with the bread/that’s some f–ked up sh-t/think about that kid.”
The lyric references McCartney’s divorce from the one-legged Heather Mills.
50 says, “That’s interesting. You figure if you’re gonna marry a woman with one leg, she’s gonna stay!”

Mayer’s last studio set, “Continuum,” entered the chart at No. 2 with 300,000 in 2006.
Next in line could be Casting Crowns’ “Until the Whole World Hears,” with possibly as much as 175,000 copies. After that, 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct” and Norah Jones’ “The Fall” are vying for the third-highest debut, as each are estimated to sell around 150,000 copies.
Tween sensation Justin Bieber’s debut album, “My World,” could shift 100,000 copies while “American Idol” winner Kris Allen may see his debut effort move approximately 90,000 copies. Rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures seems on track to sell about 75,000 with its first effort and Leona Lewis’ second album, “Echo,” may sell 50,000 to 60,000, as will Paul McCartney’s new live set “Good Evening New York City.”
Rapper 50 Cent Hit By The Recession

Not even rapper 50 Cent is recession-proof.
The rapper claims he’s lost a few million in this hard economic times, which have forced him to start selling off some of his most prized possessions, his jewelry.
“I buy diamonds on a very regular basis, but now I am selling my old stuff before I get something new. These are times when you learn about the value of money.
If you don’t lose money in this recession, it means you didn’t have enough to start off with. Sure, I lost a few million, but that’s because I have so much. This is a time that will sort out the strong from the weak.”
50 Cent thinks his money-handling are so strong that he says, “Any businessman who wants a piece of the future should learn from me. Obama is great. If he wants me as his financial adviser that would be cool.”
Really?

50 Cent Apologizes For Kanye West ‘Gay Tour’ Comments
October 2, 2009 by iMusicDaily

Rapper 50 Cent has apologized for comments suggesting Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s now defunct tour was for gay people – insisting he didn’t mean to cause any offense.
The In Da Club hit-maker took aim at West over his plans to tour with the Poker Face singer, telling New York radio host Angie Martinez that the hip-hop star targets the gay community to sell records.
He quipped, “I have nothing against them, but he’s cool with them. He goes, drops his video off to them. Remember 808s & Heartbreak? Where’d he premiere it? Ellen Degeneres. He went there to premiere his video. He’s conscious of the gay community and wants them to buy his CDs.”
50 Cent added that West and Gaga’s Fame Kills tour, which was cancelled without explanation on Thursday, was the “gay tour.” However, after gay rights groups slammed the comments as homophobic, the rapper has taken to his website to insist his words were taken out of context.
He says, “During an interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, certain comments I made were taken entirely out of context. When I referred to the Lady Gaga tour as ‘the gay tour,’ I was basically repeating what I thought she had referred to the tour in the past. It was not my intention to offend anyone. I don’t have a problem with anyone’s lifestyle and have no issue with Lady Gaga. She makes great music.”
It was not known why the Fame Kills tour was scrapped as WENN went to press.
Oh 50……..
