PAIGE WILLIAMS TO OPEN FOR FERRAS

Join Mix 100.5 fm on Friday February 6th at 9pm for a special acoustic evening inside the Starlight Lounge at the Palm Springs Riviera Resort & Spa. The lounge will feature Ferras, who’s hit song “Hollywood’s Not America” has garnered rave reviews from People Magazine, Billboard, USA Today and the New York Post. The track was also featured on last seasons American Idol.

The bill will also feature Paige Williams, a singer and songwriter (nominated Best Rock Artist for the 2008 LA Music Awards) originally from Palm Springs whose career is currently blossoming in the Los Angeles area. She displays a modern mix of pop and rock and is very much looking forward to playing a special acoustic set in front of family and friends here in her home town!

Rounding out the night is the very talented Michael Keeth, whose fronted many popular rock groups here in the Desert. Michael has headlined historic venues such as the Whisky on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles and co-headlined a sold out concert with Dishwalla in Riverside. His acoustic show mixes a blend of Radiohead meets Pearl Jam meets Jack Johnson. This acoustic evening will display the true essence of music to celebrate the kick-off of Grammy weekend 2009.
