First MTV O Music Award for Most Innovative Music Video Decided today! Livestream panel debate at 4pm.

Today marks the official kick off of the week long MTV O Music Awards celebration, www.omusicawards.com. Today at 4pm, MTV will be live streaming a panel with Jermaine Dupri, legendary music video director Wayne Isham, and music journalists Caryn Ganz (Yahoo Music) and Brenna Ehrlich (Mashable) where they will debate the nominees for the most innovative music video. At the end of the live stream, the winner will be announced. Hosted by James Montgomery with appearances by Robyn, Tim Nordwind of OK Go, Andy Grammer, Perry Farrell, My Chemical Romance, Ke$ha, and more. Eliminated Idol Pia Toscano To Perform On Dancing With The Stars

There’s a first for everything! Pia Toscano may have been eliminated from American Idol, but she’s already making history as the first castoff to perform on the Dancing With The Stars results show before an official Idol has been crowned.

Rumors have been swirling that Pia has been getting close to Dancing With The Stars cast member Mark Ballas and now we know why! Whether or not it’s a publicity stunt, we’re excited to see Pia performing again on such a big show.

No word yet on what she’ll be performing. Could it be her rumored first single? Reports have claimed that Pia has been rushed into writing and recording her first album now that she’s signed a record deal.

For the first time ever, Rihanna blew us away with her performance of her latest single, ‘California King Bed,’ when she took to the American Idol stage last week.

For years, all we could think about was Rihanna performing Mariah Carey’s ‘Hero’ during a school talent show. If you’ve seen it, you know what we’re talking about!

Seems the years have been good to Rihanna’s voice and she’s able to carry a tune during a live performance. We love a good RiRi jam, but we’ve never turned to her for a stellar vocal performance. Could things be changing?

Celebrities Take To Twitter, Outraged Over Pia’s Idol Elimination!

American Idol fans were outraged over the elimination of frontrunner Pia Toscana on last night’s results show. With flawless vocal performances each week and nothing but praise from the judges, no one expected Pia to be sent home, much less be in the bottom 3. Twitter was buzzing when word quickly spread about Pia’s departure. Pia instantly became a trending topic on Twitter and celebrities took to the social media outlet to express their shock and outrage over the results.

Ryan Seacrest: Can’t get over last night’s #AmericanIdol! So bizarre. After I read the results I thought to myself, ‘did I get that right?’

Jennifer Lopez: I am truly sad. I can’t believe this happened. You have to vote for who you love! We will miss you @ptoscanoAI10 !!

Let’s not forget, American Idol is a show about ratings, sponsors, and media blitz. Every year, Idol focuses on voter participation and tells America that the results show people aren’t voting enough for their favorites. The show is sponsored by AT&T and the more texts viewers send, the more money everyone makes. Pia was their ticket to making more money. It’s just unfortunate that someone so talented was cut so soon. Pia won’t have a problem with her career now that her Idol days are over, it just would have been nice to see her perform each week and make it to the finale. At the end of the day, the producers have the final say and they got exactly what they wanted. American Idol is the only thing people are talking about today.

RiRi debuted her new single ‘California King Bed’ by performing a duet with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. Britney Spears Brings The LOLs On Jimmy Kimmel. Not Afraid Of Poo Poo!

Britney Spears practically took over Jimmy Kimmel last night to promote the release of Femme Fatale. Brit Brit took part in a few skits including ‘lost footage’ from Jackass 3 that showed Britney being flung into the air in a Porta Potty. Britney’s not afraid of a little poo poo or pee pee y’all!
