Looks like Miley Cyrus is crossing over to the dark side. While on tour, Cyrus claimed Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ inspired her to do music. Really? You mean Billy Ray’s ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ didn’t?

If you haven’t heard by now, Miss Nicki Minaj is joining Britney Spears on tour! She seems like a great fit…much better than Enrique Iglesias. Was Enrique actually considering going on tour with Brit Brit? Or was it just a PR stunt?

Miley Cyrus Announces Overseas Tour

Miley Cyrus is heading to South America, y’all! Miley’s been laying relatively low these days, but news has come that Miley will be touring overseas in South America very soon.
An insider says, “Miley has a huge fanbase worldwide. She’s pumped that her schedule has opened up and allowed her to perform for fans abroad.”
Miley plans to kick off her your at Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa in Quito, Ecuador on April 29. She’ll also be stopping in Lima, Peru on May 1st. A full list of tour dates and locations has not been announced yet.

Gaga’s little monsters were in for a surprise at her Monster Ball Tour show in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Gaga performed her new hit single ‘Born This Way’ for the first time in concert.

Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae Are Going On Tour Together

Following their show-stopping performance at the Grammy Awards, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae will team up for a North American co-headlining tour.
The retro-pop singer and R&B songstress will embark on the joint trek, dubbed Hooligans in Wondaland, in May and June, with British singer/rapper Plan B set to open on select dates.
Before they kick off their road trip together, both artists will kick off their own European runs in the coming weeks — Mars’ will begin in Berlin, Germany on March. 3, while Monae will start her run in Brussels, Belgium on February 20.
Tour dates and venues for the Wondaland tour have yet to be announced.
Mars, Monae, and Atlanta rapper B.o.B earned a standing ovation for their Grammy performance, in which Mars played a doo-wop riff on his former Hot 100 chart-topper “Grenade” and Monae crowd-surfed while singing “Cold War.”
Mars also walked away with the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance trophy for “Just the Way You Are,” the first single from his debut album “Doo-Wops and Hooligans.”
Fans can get information on presale tickets — including bundles that include meet-and-greets with Mars and/or Monáe and early entry to the venue — beginning on Wednesday (February 16) at www.brunomars.com. General-public tickets will go on sale beginning February 26.

Jimmy Buffett Falls Off Stage In Australia

Singer Jimmy Buffett fell off a stage at the end of a concert in Sydney and was rushed to the hospital.
Someone had to have shot video footage of this?
Australia’s Daily Telegraph reports that audience members saw the 64-year-old fall face first off the stage and hit his head.
Buffett’s manager then took the stage and urged fans to leave the auditorium, the Hordem Pavillion.
The singer was brought to Sydney’s St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Wednesday night’s concert was Buffett’s fifth and last in Sydney on his current tour.

Katy Perry just announced her California Dreams World Tour North American dates!
The 41-city trek begins on June 7th in Atlanta, GA and finishes on Aug. 14th with a 2-night stint in Katy’s hometown Santa Barbara, CA
Katy will perform at The Grammy Awards on Feb. 13th where she is nominated for four awards including Album Of The Year.

Janet Jackson Is To Tour in The US and Canada!

Pop star, Janet Jackson, is bringing her Number Ones, Up Close and Personal tour to the U.S. and Canada this spring.
The tour will kick off March 7-8 with a two-night stand in Las Vegas and wraps with another pair of shows April 22-23 in Las Vegas.
The setlist will be made up off all the hits that make up Jackson’s 2009 compilation, “Number Ones.”
“These concerts will be different from anything I have ever done. I will be as up close and personal as possible,” Jackson said in a statement.
“These concerts are not about special effects. This is a love affair between me and those of you who have supported me and my work for all these years. I’ll be singing and dancing from my heart. The music will all be songs that you’ve made number ones for me. Let’s go!
Jackson is also slated to release “True You,” a book reflecting on her experience with diet and exercise, on February 8.

Yesterday, Ryan Seacrest announced that the Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block will be heading out on a joint tour. The tour will kick off in the summer of 2011 and span across the United States.
The guys will sit down with Ryan Seacrest on November 8th to share more details on the tour. Their first performance will be a big one. They’re sceduled to perform a medley of hits together during the upcoming 2010 American Music Awards, which air live on November 21st at 8PM EST on ABC.
