British singer Adele will make her live comeback at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in just under two weeks, after being on vocal rest since throat surgery sidelined the singer late last year.

The singer tweeted the news to her fans, saying “Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It’s been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can’t wait, speak soon xx.”

In a statement, Adele said she was “immensely proud to have been asked to perform” at music’s biggest night on February 12 after a three-month hiatus on vocal rest.

It is “very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all,” she said.

The two-time Grammy winner, whose second album “21″ smashed chart records around the world last year, was forced to cancel U.S. tour dates in November 2011 when she underwent microsurgery in Boston to treat a benign polyp on her vocal cords which was causing recurrent bleeding.

Indie favorite Jack White announced the upcoming April 24 release of “Blunderbuss,” his debut solo album, which will be released on Third Man Records/Columbia.

“Love Interruption,” the first single from the album, is currently streaming at White’s official website and will be serviced to digital retailers tonight at midnight EST. A vinyl version of the single will be released on Feb. 7.

Recorded and produced by White in his Third Man Studio in Nashville, “Blunderbuss” is the first album released solely under the singer-songwriter’s name after releasing six albums with the White Stripes, two albums with the Raconteurs and another pair of full-lengths with the Dead Weather. “I’ve put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name,” says White in a press release. “These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.”

Adele’s “21″ album hits its 17th week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (95,000; down 9%). “21″ has been No. 1 longer than any other album since “The Bodyguard” soundtrack wrapped a 20-week run at No. 1 on the chart dated May 29, 1993.

The second-highest debut arrives at No. 7 by James Fortune & FIYA, who sees its “Identity” land with 18,000. It’s the best sales week and highest charting album for the gospel singer — who also debuts at No. 1 on the Gospel Albums chart. On the latter tally, it’s his first leader after reaching No. 2 twice previously.

As for the rest of the top 10 this week, the Black Keys’ “El Camino” holds at No. 3 (29,000; down 20%) while Drake’s “Take Care” is also stationary at No. 4 (29,000; down 8%). (Only a couple hundred sales separate the two titles this week.)

Norah Jones has teamed up with super-producer Danger Mouse for her next album, “Little Broken Hearts,” the singer-songwriter’s fifth full-length, which will be released this spring on Blue Note/EMI.

Jones and Danger Mouse (real name Brian Burton) recorded the album at Burton’s Los Angeles studio last fall after Jones contributed vocals to Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi’s “Rome” project last year. “Little Broken Hearts” was entirely produced by Danger Mouse and co-written by Jones and Danger Mouse, and the pair also handled the majority of the instrumentals.

According to a press release, Jones plans to tour “extensively” in 2012, and the singer-songwriter has already announced a pair of dates: June 29 at the Kodak Hall at Eastman Theater in Rochester, N.Y., and Aug. 10 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Jones’ last full tour came in 2010, when she supported “The Fall” with a 74-date world trek.

Bruce Springsteen will release his 17th studio album, entitled “Wrecking Ball,” on March 6th. The album will be released by Columbia Records and will be featuring 11 new songs. A deluxe edition of the record will include two bonus tracks along with exclusive artwork and photography.

The album announcement ramps up the next round of activity from Springsteen, who will make a rare public speaking appearance as the keynoter at SXSW in Austin on March 15. Springsteen and the E Street Band will be touring extensively in the U.S. and Europe in 2012. European tour dates have been announced at brucespringsteen.net.

“Bruce has dug down as deep as he can to come up with this vision of modern life,” says his producer. “The lyrics tell a story you can’t hear anywhere else, and the music is his most innovative of recent years. The writing is some of the best of his career and both veteran fans and those who are new to Bruce will find much to love on ‘Wrecking Ball.’”

Three of the songs on ‘Wrecking Ball’ will be familiar to Springsteen fans from past concert performances, including the title cut, performed live since 2009; “American Land” from the tour in support of Springsteen’s 2006 ‘Seeger Sessions’ album and since with the E Streeters; and “Land of Hope and Dreams,” which dates back to the late 1990s. Fans can stream “We Take Care of Our Own” and pre-order ‘Wrecking Ball’ at brucespringsteen.net.

‘Wrecking Ball’ will be Springsteen’s first album release since the death of saxophonist Clarence Clemons

Springsteen has been unusually prolific in the past decade, releasing seven albums (one, ‘The Promise,’ as part of an ambitious project around landmark 1978 album ‘Darkness on the Edge of Town’). His last studio album of new material was 2009′s ‘Working On a Dream,’ which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 224,000 units, and has sold a total of 594,000 copies in the U.S., according to SoundScan. His touring efforts behind ‘Dream’ and 2009′s ‘Magic’ were hugely successful, grossing nearly $400 million and selling more than 4.2 million tickets worldwide to 177 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore.

As “We Found Love” continues to heat up the charts, superstar Rihanna is getting ready to release her second Talk That Talk single, “You Da One,” by giving fans a behind-the-scenes teaser for the music video.

In the two-minute montage, fans get several glimpses at a blond-bobbed Rihanna with a fitted gold grill and a slew of outfit changes. For one of her ensembles, the pop titan dons a gold chain necklace and midriff-baring two-piece as she grinds up against a checkered wall with life-size playing cards nearby. Another scene finds the singer in a white tank top and tattered jean shorts, swinging a cane in between two brick buildings.

“We’re in London town!” the chart-topper tells the cameraman while the Dr. Luke-produced track plays in the background. “We tried to shoot our first setup outside, but it started to rain really, really hard. Then it stopped after we had to switch setups. … I’m running on one hour of sleep. I’m not even going to remember this tomorrow. My eyes are burning a little bit.”

Fans can also expect to be kept in the loop about the video for “Take Care,” Rihanna’s collabo with Drake. About the video, Drake said, “I want to make it perfect — the best video I’ve done to date — so I’m just taking my time.”
