I’m hesitant to even mention his name on here, but I’ve been learning to forgive, although I’m sure none of us will ever forget that night before the Grammy’s when Chris Brown beat Rihanna.

Chris Brown’s career has suffered a huge setback following that incident, but it looks like he’s making a bit of a comeback. His movie Takers took the top spot at the box office this past weekend and his single, “Deuces” featuring Tyga and Kevin McCall, is currently poised to overtake the Billboard Hot R&B and Hip-Hop songs chart.

Brown announced his new single ‘Calypso’ via Twitter last night. Brown tweeted, “Geeked UP!!! NEW SINGLE called ‘Calypso’ coming real soon produced by POLOW DA DON,” he wrote, “this is a song that women have been missing from ME!!”

Katy Perry1

It was a battle for number one this week with new albums from Katy Perry and former American Idol Fantasia. With all of the press surrounding Fantasia attempted suicide and affair, many speculated that she could take the top spot. Believe me, suicide is nothing to joke about, but interesting timing for such a controversy, right?

Well, Katy Perry came out on top selling more than 194,000 copies to Fantasia’s 122,000 copies.

Congratulations!

Cee Lo Green Defends His Hit Song “Fu** You”

Cee Lo Green Fuck You

Rapper Cee Lo has a new hit song, titled “Fuc* You” which is a song about a money-hungry ex, defending the controversial track as a work of art. You can’t deny that the song is pretty catchy.

The Crazy hit-maker is under fire for dropping the word “f**k” 16 times in a three-and-a-half-minute track called F**k You, which has become an internet sensation ahead of its release on his forthcoming album The Lady Killer. A spokesperson for America’s Parents Television Council has taken aim at the star for setting a bad example for impressionable kids, calling the track “the latest example of an entertainment industry bent on racing to the bottom of the barrel.”

However, Cee Le brushed off the criticism, insisting his lyrics have valid artistic merit. He tells the Associated Press, “What I’ve tried to accomplish, like, is making art products… so I still believe that (the song) can be classified as art because it’s an original piece and the edge and alternative is there, and the integrity is intact.”

In the meantime, the rapper has agreed to release a radio-friendly version of the hit, entitled Forget You, to piggyback on the song’s viral success.

Nevertheless, he admits revamping the lyrics wasn’t his original plan: “It wasn’t like we were looking for it to be a radio hit of some sort. It was only until a short time after that we considered doing a clean version just in case.”

Lady Gaga surprised fans in St. Paul, Minnesota last night when she debuted a new ballad called ‘Living On The Radio’. The song details Gaga’s busy life and the many sacrifices she’s made to live her dream of being on the radio.

Check it out -

‘Living On The Radio’ Lyrics –
I’ve got no friends
I’m my own queen
But I’m living on, living on the the radio
That’s my dream

Stone river eyes
And a lonely heart
If I’m living on the radio
They won’t tear me apart

10 steps and roses on the tree
10 steps and lonely nights
But you’ve still got me
On the road
Road paved in gold

Baby you must believe
Baby you must be free
Keep living on, living on the radio
That’s my dream

Baby you’ve gotta friend
And so many little monsters, yeah
Keep living on, living on the radio
That’s your dream

And when there’s nowhere to go
And your friends are gone
And you only got your daddy to call
It will be all right, honey
‘Cause your songs are on the radio

‘Cause the showbiz, all the caviar
The champagne and the sold out shows
But it will be all right honey
‘Cause your songs are on the radio
