New Kids, Backstreet Boys, To Perform On Dick Clark’s Annual New Year’s Eve TV Special.

The New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys are performing in Dick Clark’s annual New Year’s Eve TV special.
ABC producers say the two groups are mashing up to close out 2011 on the ABC special.
The two bands, who have come together to become NKOTBSB, performed together live for the first time on the Dick Clark-produced American Music Awards last month. The two groups plan to tour North America together next summer.
“The NKOTBSB just keeps snowballing … and nothing is as exciting as Times Square’s New Year’s countdown,” the Backstreet Boys said Thursday.
“The excitement of this is just a glimpse of what our upcoming tour will be,” the five members of New Kids on the Block added.
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2011,” begins at 10 p.m. EST on Dec. 31 and ends around 2 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Other performers you don’t want to miss include Jennifer Hudson, Willow Smith, Ne-Yo, Avril Lavigne and Train.

Take a look and listen to the top 25 pop songs of 2009 thanks to this incredible mash-up by DJ Earworm called ‘The United States Of Pop 2009 (Blame It On The Pop)’.
Mash-up: Kelly Clarkson ‘Already Gone’ & ‘Halo’ Live

I can’t stop laughing at Kelly Clarkson’s Halloween costume…hilarious! Clarskon dressed up as Stewie from Family Guy.
Clarkson had a little surprise for fans while she performed her current single ‘Already Gone’. After all of the controversy surrounding the song and it’s similarities to Beyoncé’s ‘Halo’, Clarkson belted out a little ‘Halo’ towards the end of the song. Imagine if Clarkson had recorded and released ‘Halo’…it would have been even more amazing!
Mash Up: Justin Timberlake & Kings Of Leon

Seems like everyone’s doing a cover of the Kings Of Leon hit ‘Use Somebody’. Kelly Clarkson, Paramore, and Brooke White have all recently covered the song and now, Justin Timberlake can be added to the list.
At a recent show in Las Vegas, Timberlake performed a mash up of his hit ‘Cry Me A River’ and Kings Of Leon’s ‘Use Somebody’. It’s seems appropriate that Justin would cover the band at some point since it’s been reported that Timberlake will be working on the bands remix album.
Check out Timberlake’s magic –
