Kings Of Leon were in for quite a disgusting surprise when they took the stage at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis this weekend. The Amphitheater was pigeon infestation above the stage and the band was pooped on as soon as they started playing.
“Jared [Followill, the band's bassist] was hit several times during the first two songs,” said Andy Mendelsohn of Vector Management. “It’s not only disgusting – it’s a toxic health hazard. They really tried to hang in there.”
Reports claim that poop even landed in the singer’s mouth while he was singing!
Followill said, “I was hit by pigeons on each of the first three songs. We had 20 songs on the set list. By the end of the show, I would have been covered from head to toe. The last thing I was going to do was look up, but if that was only a couple, we must have caught them right after a big Thanksgiving dinner.”
Disgusting!
Leona Lewis Calls Of Tour Plans Because Of Her Broken Heart

Leona Lewis has reportedly called off plans to tour Asia, Australia, and Europe to recover from a broken heart after splitting up from her longtime boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
The “Bleeding Love” hitmaker is said to be struggling to cope since parting ways with her childhood sweetheart last month. She has decided that right now she needs to focus on healing.
A source tells Britain’s Sunday Mirror, “Leona’s heart just wasn’t in the tour towards the end of the U.K. leg. She was upset, teary and heartbroken over her split with Lou.
“She’d been with him for 10 years. This was the love of her life. The last thing she wanted was to be on the road away from a support network of friends and family. She wasn’t up for it emotionally.”
All this heartbreak will make for some really great music! That’s something positive out of all of this, I guess!
The source went on to say: “She’s full of ideas. She’s got a new lease of life in songwriting. She’s putting her heartbreak into her music.”
Get well Leona!

U2 To Lose Over $150 Million Over Their Canceled Tour

According to a new report, Irish band, U2 stand to lose up to $150 million from the cancellation of their world tour after Bono underwent emergency back surgery last month.
Their manager Paul McGuinness tells Britain’s The Sun, “If we play or not, touring still costs us £500,000 a day.”
One insider adds, “Bono and the band are covered by insurance but the cost of overheads and missed revenue could easily reach £100 million by the time he’s fit enough to tour again.”
They are all rich enough already so I am sure they will all be OK! The band is set to announce the rescheduled tour dates later this week.
