Taio Cruz is has been blowing up the music charts with his first two singles: “Break Your Heart” and his latest “Dynamite”. His new single ‘Dynamite” is currently #2 on the iTunes music charts.
The track “Dynamite” was added to the American edition of Taio’s second album ‘Rokstarr’, which peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200 back in June. A ‘Dynamite’ remix featuring Jennifer Lopez should be released soon! (She should be thanking god for that! Haha)

Dutch songstress Esmee Denters has covered Stevie Wonder’s classic ‘As‘ for Billboard’s Mash Up Mondays. You may remember that George Michael and Mary J Blige had a pretty big hit with this song back in the day, but we think Esmee has done a pretty good job too.
Esmee’s new single ‘Love Dealer‘ featuring Justin Timberlake is out next week (12th July).
For those of you that don’t know much about Esmee Denters, she started her career by posting videos on YouTube performing covers of her favorite songs. After a few years of singing online Justin Timberlake signed her to his record label and she even went on tour with him.
Check out the video below! Do you think Stevie Wonder would be proud of her performance?

Travis Garland Performs Debut Single ‘Believe’ On American Idol

The hype surrounding newcomer Travis Garland seemingly came out of nowhere a few days ago when it was announced that he would be performing his debut single ‘Believe‘ on the American Idol results show this week. Leading up to his performance, we learned that Travis was a member of the boy band NLT, is currently signed to Geffen Records, and is being pushed by none other than Perez Hilton. Perez introduced Travis last night and claimed that Garland’s version of ‘Dead and Gone’, which you can check out on his Myspace page, is better than Justin Timberlake’s version. That sound-byte will certainly be taken out of context and used against him by the critics.

Travis Garland just released his debut single ‘Believe’ yesterday and the internet is already buzzing. And you can expect to hear a lot more about Travis after he performs on this weeks American Idol results show.
Garland was a member of the former boyband, Not Like Them (NLT), and it was Garland’s Mypsace page that had previously caught Perez Hilton’s attention.
Perez says of Garland, “I think what’s really exciting about Travis is that he’ll appeal to the young girls that love Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber, but he’s older and more mature so he’ll appeal to a broader audience.”
“I think he’s a great singer and a great dancer,” Hilton says, “and hot and young. But he’s a gifted songwriter too. I am involved on the management side and I’m involved on the label side. So I’m fully involved in him and fully believe in him.”

Artist To Watch: Tino Coury

Newcomer Tino Coury just released his debut single ‘Diary’ and it can already be heard on over 45 pop and rhythm radio stations across the US.
Tino Coury is the first artist signed to indie label Eleventh Records. ‘Diary’ marks the first release on Eleventh Records, which is being distributed through Universal’s Fontana. Tino will release his full-length debut album later in the year, for which he has collaborated with producer Alex Cantrall (Fantasia, Dru Hill, JoJo).
On ‘Diary’, Tino says:
“I started with a straight piano line as a loop,” he recalls of the song’s creation. “I had the lyrical concept, and the melody and the words started coming for the hook. I then started building the track adding the drums and synths–I wanted it to have a little bit of a club feel. When I write a song, I want a beat you can dance to, a great track-but also a story,” adds Coury. “There has to be a heart to it.”
