Jack White, Beck and Bon Iver top the lineup for the 2012 Sasquatch! Music Festival, set for Memorial Day weekend (May 25 to 28) at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington state.

Joining them is a mouthful of top indie talent, including the Shins, Beirut, Girl Talk, Feist, St. Vincent, Silversun Pickups, Metric, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Spiritualized, Tune-Yards, Kurt Vile, and many more. The Roots, Childish Gambino, Shabazz Palaces and AraabMuzik are the hip-hop performers, and Nick Kroll, Todd Barry and Rob Delaney will provide the comedy.

For the full Sasquatch! lineup, check out the official site. Four-day passes — which include camping and parking — go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. PT through the same site.

White’s headlining slot is his first confirmed gig since announcing earlier this week he was going solo with the premiere of a brand-new song, “Love Interruption,” and an upcoming album, Blunderbuss. Not to be outdone, White’s fellow headliner Beck will be making his first high-profile appearance in nearly three years at the fest.

American Idol star Adam Lambert reportedly told the British tabloid, Daily Star, that he will be performing with the original members guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor of the pop-cult band Queen this summer. The original singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury, passed away in 1991.

“The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some f—ing great songs,” he said. “It’s to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would have been proud of.”

“After the EMAs, I heard faint little slithers of a backlash from people saying: ‘You can’t replace Freddie Mercury.’ But I already knew that,” he said. “There’s no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. That’s impossible. The way I’m choosing to view it is that it’s a great honour and one I’m in no way going to shirk … Being asked to front Queen is the best thing that can possibly happen.”

The family of late soul singer Amy Winehouse said on Wednesday it was “taking advice” after learning that the coroner at the inquest into her death had resigned because she was not qualified to practice in Britain.

According to British media, Suzanne Greenaway was appointed to her post by her husband, who was now being investigated by the Office for Judicial Complaints.

In a statement released to the media, Winehouse’s family said: “The Winehouse family is taking advice on the implications of this and will decide if any further discussion with the authorities is needed.”

The inquest into Winehouse’s death on July 23 last year found that she had more than five times the legal driving limit of alcohol in her blood when she died in her north London home.

Soulful singer Adele remained on top of the Billboard album chart with “21,” despite seven new entries vying for No. 1 this week, including stiff competition from country music singer Tim McGraw.

“21,” which has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States since its release in February 2011, notched its 18th week in the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart.

Adele, who has been resting her voice after vocal cord surgery last November, said she will be making her live comeback at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 12.

Country music star McGraw’s 11th studio album, “Emotional Traffic” debuted at No. 2, scoring the singer his 14th top 10 album in the Billboard 200 chart and 13th No. 1 in the Billboard Country Albums chart.

New albums from rock band “Lamb of God,” singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, “American Idol” alumnus Kellie Pickler, Christian music singer Kari Jobe and soul singer Seal dotted the top 10, along with the “2012 Grammy Nominees” and “Kidz Bop 21″ compilation and Drake’s “Take Care.”

“21″ was the only album to cross the 100,000 copies mark, partially driven by a re-issued deluxe edition released last week in Target retail stores.

Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” single climbs from No. 8 to No. 2, nearing the top spot, currently held by Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.”

On the Digital Songs survey, “Fire” remains at No. 2 after topping the chart two weeks ago. The song sold 167,000 downloads (down 10%) in the list’s tracking week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

As announced yesterday, Adele will perform at the 54th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Feb. 12, marking her first live performance since undergoing vocal surgery late last year.

Clarkson’s “Stronger” is aptly titled, as the second single from her album “Stronger” vaults 8-2 with top Digital Gainer honors. The song surges by 29% to 225,000 downloads sold and ascends 3-1 on Digital Songs, marking Clarkson’s second leader on the sales ranking. Her “My Life Would Suck Without You” spent two weeks at No. 1 on Digital Songs three years ago this month.

Lana Del Rey received harsh criticism over her debut SNL performance. But in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, the emerging pop star says she thinks she did a perfectly fine job on the legendary sketch show, saying,”I actually felt good about it. I thought I looked beautiful and sang fine … I know some people didn’t like it, but that’s just the way I perform, and my fans know that.”

Del Rey did admit to being nervous, though in a more general sense, saying live performance has never been her strong suit because she is “not a natural performer or exhibitionist” and that when she was younger she “hated the focus; it made me feel strange.”

Del Rey continued, “There’s backlash about everything I do. It’s nothing new,” she told the music mag. “When I walk outside, people have something to say about it. It wouldn’t have mattered if I was absolutely excellent. People don’t have anything nice to say about this project.”
