No. 1 selling recording artist Demi Lovato and the multi-platinum-selling artists, the Jonas Brothers are featured on the soundtrack of the summer–Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam–set to rock into stores and online retailers on Tuesday, August 10th. The album features 15-all new songs from the movie, including three bonus songs (”Different Summers,” “Walkin’ In My Shoes” and “It’s Not Too Late”). The physical CD also features exciting special bonuses, including the full-length “It’s On” music video, exclusive interviews with Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers, and a movie photo gallery accessible through computer ROM drives. “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” premieres Friday, September 3rd on Disney Channel.

“Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” is a full out rock ‘n roll musical that celebrates music, dance and the freedom of summer and reminds viewers to ‘enjoy the journey.’ This summer of fun opens on a high-pitched Camp Rock reunion. All the Camp Rockers have returned, eager to tune up and rock out but a glistening new camp across the lake, Camp Star, poaches Camp Rock’s counselors and may put Camp Rock out of business. Mitchie Torres (played by Demi Lovato) steps it up as she challenges the egocentric Camp Star to an end-of-summer performance duel–it’s on!

Nick Jonas commented, “In the first movie, music was part of it. This one–music tells the story.” Demi Lovato added, “In this movie there are several different kinds of music — and music is what drives ‘Camp Rock 2′.”

New details have been released on the soundtrack to the highly anticipated film, Sex and the City 2, and the lineup of talent has never been better.

According to Eonline’s Marc Malkin Alicia Keys performs a cover of Blondie’s 1980s classic “Rapture” as a mash-up with the Sex and the City theme song that’s played during the movie’s opening theme. Marc said, “‘Rapture’ and the SATC theme go together like a frosty cosmo and a pair of Manolo Blahniks. It just feels and sounds so right.”

Jennifer Hudson will not be reprising her role as Carrie’s assistant, but she will be on the soundtrack this time around. Hudson and Leona Lewis duet on an original ballad written for the movie called “Love Is Your Color.”

Even the movie’s cast will appear on the soundtrack Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon performing Helen Reddy’s “I Am Woman.”

Liza Minnelli covers Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” as well as a new rendition of Cole Porter’s “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye.”

Dido and Cee Lo will also have new music on the Sex and the City soundtrack.

The soundtrack will be released on May 25, just two days before SATC hits theaters.

Janet Jackson Is Worried About Lady Gaga

Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga

Janet Jackson loves her some Lady Gaga but she’s worried that Gaga may be pushing herself too hard!

Jackson tells MTV, “I really love GaGa and she’s a sweetheart. It’s not always the case when you meet them (superstars). You can enjoy their work, but it’s not always so pleasant when you get to know their personality, and she truly is a sweetheart. She’s definitely doing something different and I love that.”

Janet also shared her concerns about Lady Gaga. She said, “She works so hard and I told her I think she needs to slow down just a little bit, take some time out for herself.”

Janet isn’t the first star to voice their concern about Lady Gaga’s health. Ryan Tedder from the group OneRepublic warned Gaga to “be careful” not to burn herself out.

About a month ago Lady Gaga passed out on stage a couple of times and she said that sleep deprivation was the main cause, “I was so jetlagged, I got in the night before and the jetlag just really caught up with me. I passed out about three times on stage that night but I got myself to the floor. I’d rather die on stage than walk off the stage because I was going to pass out… It’s never happened to me before, I was just really tired.”

Be careful Miss Gaga!! Safety first!

avril lavigne alice underground alice in wonderland disney

When ‘Alice’ from the Alice and Wonderland soundtrack was released by Avril Lavigne, I was not a fan. I’ve always liked Avril, but this song just didn’t catch my attention and I didn’t understand why the studio would put so much money and effort behind this song. The movie’s already generated a ton of buzz, it’s not like it needed a song from Avril Lavigne to get people to go see it.

After seeing Avril perform ‘Alice’ on the Jay Leno show last night, I’m starting to warm up to the song after all. Maybe it was the stage set up, maybe it was the band, whatever it was, Avril sounded amazing…if she was actually singing live. Check out her performance in this video from NeonLimeLight.com:

I’m excited for Avril’s return to the music scene. Hopefully, this is just a warm up for her.

50 cents muscles

50 Cent is going to be changing his famous muscular physique by dropping 65 pounds for an upcoming movie titled, “Things Fall Apart.”

Not only did 50 Cent co-write the screenplay, he will be acting in the film as well. The screenplay is about a college football player that is suffering from cancer, hence why he is losing so much weight.

The films co-producer Randall Emmett tells Variety, “Fifty is in the process of losing 65 pounds for the role.”

This isn’t the first time 50 Cent has been on the big screen. He starred along Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in 2008’s Righteous Kill, as well as in the semi-autobiographical film, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. “Things Fall Apart” is scheduled to begin shooting in Michigan in May following 50 Cent’s latest concert tour.

50 is gonna be skinny!

Madonna

Madonna is going to direct another film. Remember the first and only movie she directed in 2008, “Filth and Wisdom,” was a huge flop!

The Queen of Pop wants return to the director’s chair to attempt directing her second film which is a drama based on the life of King Edward VII.

Starpulse is reporting Madonna is refusing to let the negative reviews put an early end to her career behind the camera. She has signed up to write and direct “W.E.,” the real-life story of Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne in 1936 to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson.

It has been rumored that one of the stars of “Up in the Air,” Vera Farmiga, will be up for the role of Simpson.

Oh brother……we can pray her second attempt is better!

Carrie Underwood To Make Film Debut

Carrie Underwood

It’s not enough to be just a country music superstar anymore. Now, you’ve got to act, as well.

Carrie Underwood is set to make her feature film debut in the indie-drama titled “Soul Surfer”, which is based on the life of teen surfing champ and shark attack survivor Bethany Hamilton. Underwood will play a church youth leader. How appropriate…The film will also star Helen Hunt and Dennis Quaid.

This isn’t Underwood’s first acting job, and it certainly won’t be her last. She recently filmed an episode of How I Met Your Mother and had her very own holiday variety special on tv. Underwood can also be seen stretching her acting chops in her most recent music video for ‘Temporary Home’. If that’s any indication, Underwood is turning into quite an actress.

Are you excited for Carrie’s film debut?
