Hilary Duff and her husband are expecting their first child.

The 23-year-old singer and actress announced the news Sunday on her website, after noting that she and Mike Comrie, 30, are celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary.

“We also want to share the exciting news that baby makes three,” Duff wrote on her site. “We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives.”

Days before making the news official, Duff told Us Weekly that “we both love kids and we’re really excited. … It was a big deal for us because we had a year to be married.”

Duff appeared on the big screen earlier this year in the independent drama “Bloodworth.” Her last album was a live set released in 2009. Canadian-born Comrie plays hockey for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Elton John has just become a father!

The superstar and husband David Furnish have become parents to a 7-pound, 15-ounce baby boy born on Christmas Day.

The news was first reported Monday night by USMagazine.com and confirmed to The Associated Press by John’s Los Angeles-based publicist.

Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born in California via a surrogate, whose identity is being protected by the new parents.

Zachary is 62-year-old John’s first child with the 48-year-old Furnish. The couple married in 2005.

In a joint statement, the new parents told USMagazine.com that “Zachary is healthy and doing well” and they are “overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment.”

Mariah Carey Confirms She’s Got A Bun In The Oven

Mariah Carey is has finally confirmed that she does in fact have a bun in the oven! She also shares the breaking news that she had a miscarriage.

The superstar singer confirmed on NBC’s “Today” show Thursday that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child. Mariah says the baby is due in the spring.

Carey had declined to discuss her pregnancy, the subject of rampant speculation for months, until now. So weren’t not exactly why she decided to share the news with “Access Hollywood’s” Billy Bush, but here’s what she told him:

“Yes, we are pregnant, it’s true. It’s been a long journey, but it’s been tough because I’ve been trying to … hold on to a shred of privacy, and that was not easy.”

Carey, 40, and Cannon, 30, have been the subject of a baby watch since they got married after a whirlwind romance two years ago.

They laughed off the rumors when they occurred soon after their wedding.

“We thought it was fun, because they kept saying, ‘Oh she’s pregnant.’ Yeah, whatever. So we took the test and it was positive,” she said.

But Carey had a miscarriage soon afterward.

“It was really sad, so we really had to absorb this and take it in,” she said.

Cannon hailed his wife’s strength for being able to laugh in front of the cameras, but later, “crying herself to sleep.”

Bush said that Carey told him the baby was conceived naturally, and added that the couple does not know the sex of the baby.

This is all great publicity for her new album: her second holiday CD, “Merry Christmas II You.”

Alicia Keys weds producer Swizz Beatz

Call her Mrs. Beatz. Alicia Keys has married producer Swizz Beatz (Swiss Beats), with whom she is expecting her first child.

A representative for Keys on Sunday confirmed the wedding.

The Grammy winner and Beatz — whose real name is Kaseem (KAH-seem) Dean — announced in May that they were engaged. They were wed Saturday at a private ceremony. Deepak Chopra conducted the ceremony.

It is the 29-year-old singer’s first marriage. Thirty-one-year-old Beatz has been married before and has two sons.

Their baby is due later this year.

Alicia Keys Is Engaged & Pregnant!

Superstar singer Alicia Keys is engaged to producer Swizz Beatz (real name Kasseem Dean) and the couple is expecting a baby. They have been linked together since 2008, even while Swizz Beatz was still married to Mashonda.

Kasseem Dean already has two children from his previous relationships and now Alicia Key’s representatives announced that the couple is “expecting a baby.”

Friends of the couple say, “They’re very happy.”

Grammy nominated Mexican singing sensation, Paulina Rubio has announced she’s pregnant.

This will be Paulina’s first child with PR executive husband Nicolas Vallejo Najera. The couple wed in 2007.

Paulina Rubio, who is 38 years old, broke the news on her Twitter page and she could barely contain her excitement.

She writes, “Life has a new meaning… guys, I want to confess with great excitement your (sic) going to be aunts/uncles!!! I am going to be a mom!!!!”

Singer Robin Thicke and actress Paula Patton welcome a baby to the world! The former high school sweethearts welcomed their first child, Julian Fuego, in Los Angeles Tuesday.

Robin Thicke cancelled his duty as the opening act on the Alicia Keys “Freedom Tour” so he could be in the hospital with his wife. It has been reported that Alicia Keys actually confirmed Julian’s birth, offering congratulations to the new dad on stage during her show at the Los Angeles Staples Center.

A rep for Thicke tells PEOPLE.com: “Mother, father and son are all doing well.”

Christina Aguilera Inspired By Son On New Album

Christina Aguilera’s upcoming album, Bionic, is gaining a lot of hype. Christina’s music is going in a new direction and the singer says she’s inspired by her son, Max.

“I’m so excited — I’ve had an idea for a futuristic feel for many years now. It’s always been in the back of my mind to do a more futuristic sound. I was inspired by artists that I am collaborating with on the album. Folks like Sia, Ladytron and Goldfrapp.”

Jennifer Lopez Wants More Babies!

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony already have set of twins, Max and Emme, but Jennifer Lopez admits she wants more babies!

Jennifer tells Absolute Now, “I want more babies – definitely. But you can’t really plan your life. As much as you would like to and as much as you would like to say, ‘I want to do this then and that then and this by that time, it is all going to be perfect,’ that’s not life. That’s not how it is. You have to just be willing to go with what happens.”

Conceiving her twins was a challenge and yet she refused to be assisted by fertility doctors. She wants to let everything happen naturally.

She said, “When it comes to family and relationships, I’m quite traditional. Just because of the way I was raised. And I also believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don’t mess with things like that. And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is. You know what I mean? And if it is, it will. And if it’s not, it’s not going to.”

Maybe she should seek professional help with her music……..just saying.

Melanie Brown wants to have more babies! She is more than ready to start a family with her husband Stephen Belafonte. She wants to have a third child by 2011. She already has one child, Iris, whose father is Eddie Murphy. She also has a child from her first marriage to Jimmy Gulzar.

She’s enjoyed being pregnant and she’s ready to do it again!

She tells Britain’s Closer magazine, “If I don’t have another baby this year, I’d definitely like on the next. I’d like two more. I’ve never suffered from morning sickness, so I’ve really enjoyed my pregnancies. Stephen gets on so well with my girls – I know he’ll make a brilliant dad.”
