Rebecca Black To Appear At MTV O Awards

You know you love her! After all, she’s given Friday an insane amount of publicity. Monday could really use some help, though. Maybe that will be her follow up single. If you’ve been living under a rock, we’re talking about internet sensation Rebecca Black!

Rebecca Black is slated to appear at MTV’s inaugural O Music Awards, www.omusicawards.com, a multiplatform franchise and award event that celebrates and honors the art, creativity, personality, technology and migration of music into the digital space. Black will appear alongside performers Matt & Kim and Chiddy Bang live from a surprise location in Las Vegas TONIGHT, April 28th at 11pm ET/8pm PST at OMusicAwards.com.

The award event will begin when a flash mob will descend upon a surprise iconic Las Vegas location that will serve as the backdrop for the festivities. Matt & Kim will kick off the show and be featured predominately throughout the live event. Additional performers include Chiddy Bang, Lil B, Lupe Fiasco, Mumford & Sons with Edward Sharpe and Old Crow Medicine Show, and Foster the People, who will perform at the central hub in Las Vegas, as well as other locations from around the country. Presenters include Ke$ha, Cee Lo Green, B.o.B, Wiz Khalifa, Robyn and Theophilus London.

This is gearing up to be an epic awards show you won’t want to miss!

Andy Grammer and Adam Lambert’s F*** Yeah Tumblr win first two MTV O Music Awards

Andy Grammer and the owner of the Adam Lambert f*** yeah tumblr have won the O Music Awards for Most Innovative Music Video and Best F*** Yeah Tumblr.

After a livestream debate today that featured Jermaine Dupri, music video director Wayne Isham and music and music journalists Caryn Ganz (Yahoo Music) and Brenna Ehrlich (Mashable), Grammer edged out Robyn in a three to two vote to win the category for his “Keep Your Head Up music” video, which allows fans to essentially choose their own adventure.

Lambert’s f*** yeah tumblr edged out sites covering Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Kanye West to take the coveted f*** yeah tumbrl award. The award will be presented to the site owner.

All week long, MTV will be awarding two or more O Music Awards each day , all leading up to the main show live from Las Vegas on Thursday, April 28th at 11pm ET/8pm PT at OMusicAwards.com, which will feature performances from Matt & Kim, Chiddy Bang, Lil B, Lupe Fiasco, Mumford & Sons with Edward Sharpe and Old Crow Medicine Show, and Foster the People. Presenters include Ke$ha, Cee Lo Green, B.o.B, Wiz Khalifa, Robyn and Theophilus London.

Throughout the live event, fans will have multiple camera feeds to select from, including a feed of the awards show, as well as separate feeds featuring the attempt to break the world record, as well as an audience cam.

First MTV O Music Award for Most Innovative Music Video Decided today! Livestream panel debate at 4pm.

Today marks the official kick off of the week long MTV O Music Awards celebration, www.omusicawards.com. Today at 4pm, MTV will be live streaming a panel with Jermaine Dupri, legendary music video director Wayne Isham, and music journalists Caryn Ganz (Yahoo Music) and Brenna Ehrlich (Mashable) where they will debate the nominees for the most innovative music video. At the end of the live stream, the winner will be announced. Hosted by James Montgomery with appearances by Robyn, Tim Nordwind of OK Go, Andy Grammer, Perry Farrell, My Chemical Romance, Ke$ha, and more. Genius! Whoever is doing the marketing and promotion for NBC’s new show ‘The Voice’ is doing an incredible job. The latest promo video released is a viral marketing win for the upcoming show.
