Christina Aguilera Releases Snippet Of ‘Not Myself Tonight’

Christina Aguilera has been revealing ‘Big News‘ every day this past week leading up to the release of her debut single off her new album, Bionic. First, she revealed a saucy new cover for the single ‘Not Myself Tonight’. Then she posted the song’s lyrics on her official website. She followed that up by revealing the cover of her album and now she’s released a snippet of ‘Not Myself Tonight’.

On her new sound, Christina says,

“I’m so excited — I’ve had an idea for a futuristic feel for many years now. It’s always been in the back of my mind to do a more futuristic sound. I was inspired by artists that I am collaborating with on the album. Folks like Sia, Ladytron and Goldfrapp.”

The Kids’ Choice Awards 2010 Winners List

On Saturday night, the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2010 was aired live. It was a fun filled event with lots of slime! I don’t know that many people that actually watched it live so I will list the winners below.

A few funny moments that took place included Apolo Ohno speed skating into a large pool of slime which squirted all over the fans. I have to tell you after searching for this clip online I think it might have been a stunt man that flew into the slime pool.

It was also pretty hilarious when Katy Perry was presenting Miley Cyrus with Favorite Movie Actress, but she got slimed right as she was opening the box with the winner’s name!

50 Cent Made $75,000 For Saying “Hey”

Famous Rapper 50 Cent could easily be called a genius! Why you ask? Well this man found a way to make $75,000 dollars for saying one simple word, “hey!”

There is a new hot nightspot in Liverpool, England, called Bamboo and the owners of the club convinced (I don’t know how much convincing was needed) 50 Cent to make a guest appearance at the club and greet the club goers. To top it off they set 50 up with two hot girls for the night as well as free champagne.

According to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper some of the clubbers were offended that the only thing 50 Cent said was “hey.” A source tells the publication, “It was the most blinging night ever. People though 50 Cent might perform a track or two, given his massive fee, but he just greeted the crowd with ‘Hey’ and got back to his two personally requested ladies, who were lavishing booze on him.”

Christina Aguilera Inspired By Son On New Album

Christina Aguilera’s upcoming album, Bionic, is gaining a lot of hype. Christina’s music is going in a new direction and the singer says she’s inspired by her son, Max.

Carrie Underwood Goes Undercover To Shop

Carrie Underwood hates crowds. That’s why she chooses to shop for groceries in the middle of the night undercover.

“I’m horrible in crowds. I just get so nervous… I don’t like shopping in close quarters. I just cannot do that. I wash the make-up off… and I’m in a ponytail, glasses, my sweatpants.

“People won’t tell me, ‘Are you Carrie Underwood?’ They’ll say, ‘Wow, you look like Carrie Underwood.’”

So now you know, if you see a chick at the grocery store and think she looks like Carrie Underwood, it probably IS Carrie Underwood.

Christina Aguilera Reveals Bionic Album Cover

Today, we received more ‘Big News’ from Christina Aguilera. Christina revealed the cover for her upcoming album, Bionic.

With 30 million albums sold worldwide and the prestigious honor of being the only artist under the age of 30 included in Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the 100 greatest singers of all time, 5 time Grammy Award winner Christina Aguilera has already achieved an unprecedented level of success. Aguilera’s been hard at work in the studio for the past year and is pleased to announce the release of her highly anticipated 4th studio album Bionic (RCA Records) on June 8th, 2010. The first single from Bionic is the fiercely energetic anthem “Not Myself Tonight”, produced by Polow Da Don. The song will premiere on ChristinaAguilera.com at 6pm EDT on 3/30, impacts radio on 4/5 and will be available on iTunes on 4/13.

Bionic features songs co-written by Aguilera along with her much buzzed about collaborations including Sia, Tricky Stewart, Polow Da Don, Le Tigre, Hill & Switch, and Ladytron among others. Aguilera notes, “Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience. The artists I chose to work with added so many unique sonic layers to Bionic. My intention was to step into their world and what they do combined with my own vision and sound. The results were magic.” The album also features a ballad produced and written by Linda Perry titled “Lift Me Up”. The title Bionic reflects Aguilera’s ability to take her range to new levels and use her voice in various ways never heard before.

In addition to completing the album which was all recorded from her home studio after the birth of her first son, Christina also completed production on her first film, “Burlesque.” The film, which co-stars Cher, Stanley Tucci, and Kristen Bell will be released by ScreenGems this fall.

Paige Miles Sent Home On Idol

Finally! I don’t understand how Paige Miles made it this for or why Simon claimed that she had one of the best female voices in the competition during Hollywood week. She sucks!

During last night’s show, the judges didn’t even let her sing to save herself. Their decision was unanimous when it was announced that she had the lowest votes this week.

The highlight of the show was Miley Cyrus’ performance of ‘When I Look At You’ from her upcoming film The Last Song. A lot of people don’t give Miley enough credit for her talent. Last night, she delivered a stellar performance worthy of praise.

New couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato were also on hand to perform their duet ‘Make A Wave’. The song is ok. I think the message is actually bigger than the song itself is. Sounds like Demi thinks she’s Christina Aguilera with all of those vocal runs.

Next week, Usher will be the guest mentor the contestants on R&B night.

Lady Gaga Videos Watched Online Over 1 Billion Times!

According to Internet analyzing firm Visible Measures, Lady Gaga’s music videos have been viewed online more than 1 billion times.

The superstar broke the billion view mark with her three hits- “Poker Face” (374 million), “Bad Romance” (360 million ), and “Just Dance” (272 million).

Analysts say “Telephone,” her latest music video, will probably give her another few hundred million views!
