She let everyone know through her official twitter page, SOLANGEKNOWLES that she has done this a couple times before and she didn’t care what people thought about it then, and she doesn’t care now.

She once joked that she would “go crazy like Britney” if people kept comparing her to her sister. Well, people apparently didn’t heed her warning.

Check out one of her latest music videos, “Sandcastle Disco,” when she had a little bit more hair.

whitney houston i look to you

Download the title track of Whitney Houston’s new album, “I Look to You”. The song is written by R. Kelly and was released on Tuesday as a free download on Whitney’s official website, WhitneyHouston.com.

I am sure this is an attempt to get her song out there, and hopefully people will want to hear more but I have to tell you, I think it’s just ok. I am not sure if I would have paid $1.29 for it on ITUNES. I didn’t pay anything though! So no complaints I guess!

What do you think of the single? Do you think it’s strong enough to fulfill a successful comeback for Whitney? It’s been like 8 years since her last album!

Paige Williams has just released her newest single ‘Lost’, the follow-up to her debut CD Welcome To My Life. With an edgier sound and an emotionally raw vocal, ‘Lost’ has taken Williams in a new direction and has gotten a lot of industry insiders talking. Insiders believe that ‘Lost’ will officially put Williams on the map. The comparisons to Kelly Clarkson are understandable, but Williams gives Clarkson a run for her money when she hits the chorus of ‘Lost’ and displays the incredible vocal strength and ability that she has developed over the years. With an insanely catchy hook that leaves the audience begging for more, one thing is certain, we would be lost without Paige Williams.

So you may not recognize the name Pixie Lott, but once you hear her voice, you won’t forget it!

This British songstress just released her debut single ‘Mama Do’ and has already hit the top of the UK charts.

By far the best cover of ‘Poker Face’ we’ve heard!

Hopefully, we’ll be hearing a lot more about Pixie Lott on this side of the pond soon.

mariah carey obsessed behind the scenes

Mariah Carey’s “Memoirs of An imperfect Angel,” Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “Last Train To Paris” and Lil Wayne’s “Rebirth,” release dates have all been pushed back.

You would think that these highly anticipated albums release dates wouldn’t be delayed.

Mariah Carey’s first single is currently #11 on the Billboard 100. I mean the single is OK but really she needs to just step up her game.

Clarkson Says She Didn’t Copy Beyoncé

kellyalreadygone

By now we’ve all heard the similarities between Kelly Clarkson’s latest single ‘Already Gone’ and Beyoncé’s ‘Halo’, but which song actually came first? And, as for the similarities, it looks like all fingers are pointing to songwriter/producer Ryan Tedder of One Republic.

Clarkson is speaking out and says, “Ryan and I met each other at the record label, before he was working with anyone else. He’s from Oklahoma, I’m from Texas; we got along really well and had some of the same influences. We wrote about six songs together, four or five of them made the album. It was all fine and dandy. I’d never heard of a song called Halo. Her album came out when my album was already being printed. No one’s gonna be sittin’ at home, thinkin’ ‘Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to.’ No, they’re just gonna be sayin I ripped someone off. I called Ryan and said ‘I don’t understand. Why would you do that?’”

Clarkson claims she did not want her label to release ‘Already Gone’ as a single, but she has no say in what they choose to do.

According to one rumor, Beyoncé heard Clarkson’s demo of ‘Already Gone’ and demanded that Ryan Tedder produce a similar song for her and release it immediately before Kelly could release her song.

Tisk Tisk…
